No. If anything, Rondo goes through stretches where he is way too passive when all 3 of the Big 3 are healthy, because he probably feels like he needs to get them their shots.
He's never going to post a great TS% because he doesn't shoot free throws well (that may change, based on his mid-range improvement) and he doesn't take or hit 3's (that probably will never change), but he needs to stay aggressive.

Nah. These high-TS% guys like Perk, Posey, Davis and Powe would all suffer if they took more shots.
All these high-TS% guys are low-possession guys and they just get easy shots because they are all wide-open shots. Give them some of Rondo's shots and their numbers fall. Rondo doesn't take bad shots where there is someone open. He takes wide-open jumpers and layups. I don't see too many contested shot attempts from Rondo where James Posey is just waiting there in the wings.
Plus, Rondo's jumpers are so bad sometimes that they lead to offensive rebounds I bet.

house is a shooter. house needs to continue to shoot, he usually shoots a good percentage. if house shoots 1 shot all game, he's not doing what he's there for. he's there to keep defenses honest and make sure they know they can't leave him open or even give him a little bit of room.
rondo needs to shoot more because
a.) we already are in the playoffs
b.) he needs to get better at it/get his confidence up because we might need him to make shots in the playoffs

House: Volume Shooter. Yet, we need his scoring.
I vote houses new name to be Catch22
I don't think he's that big a volume scorer. Once he starts playing off guard regularly, he'll be as efficient as ever.

My point of the post, although it's not obvious, is that if you reduc Rondo from 7 FGA to 9 FGA, they go to whoever is "on that day," with particular emphasis on Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.
I was looking for way to get PGA an xtra 2 or 3 shots.
The most logical, looking at the distribution/minutes per game above, would be to reduc Rondo from 9 to 7 and House from 6.9 to 6.

How do you do that, though? This isn't some basketball simulation where you can forcefeed FGA to each player. How do you say, "Hey, Rondo, you take 9.1 shots per game. Take 2.1 fewer shots every game and give the ball to Garnett, Allen and Pierce more, even though you already have the ball in your hands less than every other PG in the NBA."
Rondo takes open shots and layups. I guess it would be one thing if he were throwing up contested bricks all game long, but that's not the case.
I think you'd be hardpressed to find a PG who plays 31 minutes a game and takes fewer than 9 shots a game. The only fulltime PGs who take a lower percentage of their team's shots: Kidd, Calderon, Telfair, and Blake. And Blake is really only a PG by virtue of his height. He's more of a shooting guard who doesn't shoot well at all. Roy does most of the ball-handling on that team.

Rondo and Perk taking shots is going to make the shots that Pierce, Allen, and Garnett take easier.
Rondo is shooting 48% from the field, TS% is a reflection of his FT shooting and lack of 3 pt shooting neither of those improve by him taking less shots.
We just won 9 straight and just bombed people in the last 3 I don't think it is time to be changing anything accept maybe telling Perk he sucks and he better step it up or we are giving his job to an old man.

Rajon threw up a shot over his back at the glass last night in Philly, I hope that was for KG to get a tip-in, either way, the odds are that only Cousy could have ever made that shot. It seems like only about 1/2 the time does he even try to finish a drive, sometimes he gets there and just heaves the ball. WTH?
I hope Eddie gets his shot going again. His contended jumpers aren't dropping at all. He did have one "Old Eddie" 3 last night on the catch-shoot.
