Unmask yourself. Who were you in a previous life?

Nothing against the OP (we don't take kindly to Keltic bashing, even third hand, in these parts stranger ;) )

But I agree with sully00, the biggest question is who has come back to the board under a new handle?

...BOOO to this....

Why does everyone buy into this crap?

Some a-hole on the radio, A CALLER NONE THE LESS, says this and now its a legit rumor?

Come on!!!!

Even if the guy was a friend of Ray Allen, what the pose thinks and says isn't always indicitive of what the player feels himself...these guys have friends who are always bias toward their boy, always sounding off about how their boy shoulda got this, shoulda got that...

Ray Allen has been FANTASTIC since the KG injury...he's shooting 50 percent from the floor and 42 percent from 3...his scoring is right near 20 during this stretch, which is almost exactly the same as KG and PP...How is he a third option exactly?

Ray has led this team in scoring a number of times and I believe he's taking the most shots of the 3 and if you ranked their scoring games, he'd be 1st or 2nd more times than he's been 3rd...

Ray is fine and he's getting plenty of action...if he's not getting the same love from the media that's on the media...as far as his usage, he's an equal to the other two...

Don't take anything personal, a lot of the posts were just posters having fun. Were all secretly not RealGMs but losers with opinions and a keyboard who are wrong as often as we are right.

After 3 years on this board of having to actually worrying about callers thoughts like this the board is just rejoycing a bit in the fact that we don't. There was a time a rumour like this would have a poster bring it up for the next 3 months citing how Pierce is unhappy and we have to blow up the team... these things have a way of getting out of hand very quickly.

Obviously you can't know what is in a guys head but on the court Ray Allen is playing good unselfish ball.. That's all I really care about.

Why exactly is that?

Our only duty is to root for this team to go all the fing way baby! Our duty is to get our butts down to the garden and scream till our lungs bleed. Our duty is to spread the word that Celtics pride is back in the hub. Root for you team and enjoy the ride my man, cause it's been a long frickin' time.

I do feel bad for all the crap nightstar's been getting, but that was some garbage post. So it wasn't completely undeserved. Besides, this kind of stuff will happen again, so you better get used to it. We've all been there with everyone piling on.

On that note... Welcome to the Celtics message board!

First hand experience from actually being at Saturday's game.

I watched Ray warm up. He shot around and I was actually happy to see Pierce feeding him the ball in warmups. The two were joking and laughing. KG seemed to have a similar vibe with Ray. At one point I remember Ray yanking on KG's warmups when he was trying to put them on. There were other little signs that the three are actually happy to be winning right now.

Why did I notice this stuff? Because honestly... I worried about either Pierce or Ray Allen getting frustrated with not having as many shots as they've had so I purposely watched to see how they were getting along. My impression is that they are all enjoying the ride and all Egos have been checked at the door.

You know, I was actually very worried about this as well. Reason being is that I rarely caught Ray or Paul sprinting to help the other one up if one of them had fallen. I was very worried about Ray, especially during his slump. Also, he would rarely show up for interviews with Paul and KG after the game. It was always just Paul and KG horsing around.

However, after watching Paul tell the media that Ray should have been an All-Star ahead of Joe Johnson, watching the interview with Time Magazine with all 3 of them horsing around, and finally, your post about warm-ups, I can rest easy now.
