Isiah was well established as the worst employee in NBA history some time ago so obviously, nothing will get him fired.

I am shocked Knicks fans put up with this

I think the owner really trusts Isiah, so I guess he wont be fired .... but he will still be a coach or soem staff, but he will nto be GM.

Marbury vs Isiah in ThunderDome.

Two men enter, one man leaves.

He's not going anywhere this summer.

As long as he has guaranteed money next year and players like Marbury, Rose, Curry, Randolph, Crawford, Richardson, James, and Jeffries all have guaranteed contracts of 6+ mil, he will be back.

After this year's pick, securing a top pick next year, letting Rose expire, Marbury expire, and a year taken off of all the other names, then, and only then, Thomas would be fired (cheaper buyout at that point).

Maybe keeping Isiah on as coach is his punishment for the job he did as GM.

It would take a Dwayne Wade season for Isiah to be fired.

there are only two scenarios going on right now

1) Isiah Thomas has some sort of dirt on Dolan that involves corporate crimes, or details on the sexual harassment trial that would make cablevision very liable.

2) James Dolan is making Isiah suffer for what he has doen and how he has fooled him, and is going to fire him after the season is over.

I pray to God it is #2, but the more I watch, the more i realize it is #1. All the people in the organization have dirty secrets on eachother. Marbury has dirt on Isiah, Malik Rose has dirt on Isiah, Isiah has dirt on Dolan, and Dolan has dirt under his fat lovehandles.

i think as long as NYC supports the knicks dolan won't give a damn...

he's a businessman first and foremost..

and even if his team is over the luxury tax he still makes a ton of money..

players make money, coaches, the GM...

so who cares about winning when u're in the New York City

^^^ that's the thing. As long as the Knicks are making money, they couldn't care less. The Knicks never really gave a damn about winning, even in the Ewing days.

Fraud charges to be leveled against CVC senior management, forcing Dolan's resignation and the breakup of Cablevision assets, leading to the sale of the Knicks to a group of outside investors.

Or Isiah's death.

Whichever comes first.
