Horford fg% is 48. Thats pretty much the worse you would want for a Pf. Really since Horford isn't asked to create much offense he should be well over 50.

Horford opponents PER this year 19.3. Thats not good and far worse than Durant. He definetely not a anchor. The Hawks probably have to decide what there going to do to become a good defensive team. Horford would be much better with a legit center next to him but then what do you do with Josh.

Not only is Durant already close to JJ but by next year I think Durant be much better unless JJ goes back to last years form. Durant is not that far from being a all-star calliber player. Horford is not even close.

We'll just agree to disagree. This is going nowhere.

Opponent PER is an overrated stat. It has no bearing whatsoever if the team isn't playing man to man and if one player is in the game while the other isn't.

Al Horford's FG% is fine. He's not getting set up for easy layups for all his scores.

Horford is given the ball on the block and goes one on one. Or he's taking 12-15 foot jump shots.

As raw as he was offensively coming out of school that's pretty darn good. And with 15-20 more pounds of muscle he could be a more effective player on both sides of the ball.

Sure Durant could also be better than Joe Johnson one day but potential should not determine ROTY.
