Nate isnt a chucker, but of course I expect you to not know anything about him with your Monta Ellis picture. Nate should be starting on the Knicks and he has been starting alot of the games Isiah for some reason likes to leave him Balkman and Lee on the bench because he likes there energy even though we go down by 20 every game to start and then they are sent in to try to bring us back. I think we would be in a similar position with Nate as you are with Monta but since we are the Knicks and Dolan is willing to go over the cap we really dont need to trade anyone to afford to keep Nate we can just give him more money. I think Nate in the Warriors system would be an absolute beast, hes a good passer and a great shooter he can break almost anyone down one on one to get to the hole and this season he has gotten better every game at finding teammates and making good passes without turning the ball over alot and not being a liability on defense. To many people think this guy is just a circus act when he actually has some serious talent and will be in this league for a while if not on the Knicks then hopefully he will find a team that will fit his style better like your Warriors or the Nuggets.

I think Nate is a good player, but there's one thing you need to look at to tell the difference between him and Monta: Shooting %.

Nate shoots 42% from the field
Monta shoots 55% from the field

Monta is a much more efficient scorer than Nate.

but you also get much easier looks when your team gets a majority of its points off of running, Nate is perfect for the Warriors absolutely perfect and I think that if he were on the Warriors you would see that, hes not though hes on a team that likes to slow it down and give it to big men.
Go Knicks!

Nate is not near the player Monta is. He is 6" shorter, doesn't have the unstoppable midrange shot that the Warriors so badly need and isn't close to being able finish at the rim in traffic like Monta. He is a good athletic player, but to say he would do as well or better than Monta is an injustice to Monta and simply not true. He does have fire, athleticism and a 3 ball, but that would relegate him to 3rd string pg duties on this team.

In today's world, there's something called LEAGUE PASS. Get it, if you can. I've seen plenty of Nate while he was in college and as a Knick. Like many have said above, Nate has no midrange game. All he does is bomb from 3 and occasionally drive the lane. If you put Nate in the Warriors system, sure he'll do better than what he's doing in NY, but the same can be said about just anyone in the leage. Look what Nellie turned Barnes, Azubuike and many other D leaguers into gems. But to say that nate will be BETTER, you're clearly a homer and need to watch more of Monta.

Nate Robinson is the typical knick - very talented and good at 1 on 1 games, but sucks at playing on a team.

did I say he would be better? If I did my bad but you should check up because skimming through it I dont think I did. Monta has a mid range game but doesnt have a 3 point shot, Nate has a 3 point shot but doesnt have the mid range game Ellis has (saying he doesnt have one is not true). I think your lying if you say you watch Nate because 1) your decription of him is was off and 2) I cant even watch my Knicks for more than a quarter now a days they are so bad. Nate would be the second best 3 point shooter on your team other than Stephen Jackson in my opinion, maybe Al Harrington is better but I dont know how many he takes per game.

Nate will NOT be the 3rd best 3 point shooter on our team...Harrington has the most made 3 point shots (or second now) on our team. Jack, Al and Buike all shoot the 3 ball very well. Marco B, our rookie who havent gotten playing time this year is suppose to be the best shooter out of the bunch....Nate won't start or get much minutes on the Warriors as he dosen't rebound at all or do little else. Monta is amongst the league leaders in rebounds for a gaurd. Can that be said about Nate? I think not.

I think Nate Robinson could do just as good or better since hes actually a very good 3 point shooter. He also has the swagger that guys like Jax, Al, and Baron have, he would fit in.

You think he could be better, which is a fallacy. I know he's one of your only bright spots, but being able to hit 2 or 3 threes a game does not make up for the reliance on Monta's mid-range and driving game when things become stagnant on the offensive end. Like I said, we have plenty of 3 pt chuckers, but not enough players who can create for themselves and others. Monta does a great job of this and is better at it than Nate. 3 point shooting is overrated, especially on a team like this that already relies too heavily on the 3 point shot.

^Thanks for diggin' that up lol....I didn't want to spend time looking for his exact quote when he said Nate will be better than Monta...Not only does he not know what he's talking about, but don't even know what he said.

yea, i hate one of them. I forgot his name. But they are riding on all warriors' jocks. Steve Jack (though a good player and he's one of my favorite warriors) did not deserve to be on the all star team. Baron did but not jackson. That's all they complained about.

^Um, Jackson actually deserved to be there. Not even a homer pick. Our record without Stack Jack is horrible. Including the 0-6 start.

Of course, talent wise Jack isn't as good as Baron. But to say that Monta right now is better than Jack, is moronic. Jackson is the GLUE to the Warriors team. He's their best defender and takes lot's of pressure off of Baron and Monta on offense. Teams focus on Baron and Jackson most of the time, hence leaving Monta for his wide open midrange jumper. You live in The Bay, you should've known that. Unless you're just one of those bandwagoners.

Monta is a key contributor of the Warriors success this year. I just read an interesting fact that has nothing to do with this thread. The Warriors are 0-8 when S-Jax doesn't play.
