Kidd is past being molded. Kidd is Kidd and that is good!
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

I didn't watch the game. How did Magloire get those buckets?

1st bucket: Instead of taking a wide open layup Terry dished it back to Mags for an easy lay-up. And one. 3 points

Misses two free throws.

2nd bucket: Put back dunk on a Ju. Howard miss. 5 points

Makes two free throws after being fouled.

Not pretty but he scored.

Josh was the old Josh. He was driving, rebounding, hustling.
Malik Allen has a nice mid-range jumper
Kidd makes wild ass passes too often
Dampier has somehow realized that he has hands, and fast break effort
wright has a little something that mavs have missed this year with his athleticism.

I disagree, he doesn't make enough "wild" passes b/c the team is still too ISO heavy and some of his TOs are largely b/c the receiver isn't expecting or looking for the pass for what could have been an easy shot.

Kidd needs to work with Damp and Josh more.

And Mags is very slow-footed, I don't expect much out of him except 6 fouls. Too bad we couldn't pick up Ratliff or Thomas. :(

And Kurt Thomas isn't slow footed?

well he may be but, he is a better defender and has a reliable jumper, better player (did well defending Duncan last playoffs)

Name a 7 footer that is not slow footed? Everyone wants a shaq in his prime but they don't make too many of those. Mags has plenty of moves for a big man and he gets his points. Most don't like Damp and didn't like Diop so from what I can tell your not liking Mags is to be expected. Yao isn't exactly athletic nor is Shaq anymore. Name someone you do like then tell me how we get him without trading half the team. Lots of you wanted old man PJ or Kurt Thomas who reminds me of Juwan Howard so give me a break about Mags he's a big that can fill the lane and score inside exactly what we need. NJ was stupid to not figure out how to use him with Kidd if Avery can then at least he's not a total moron.

^Ok fine, most big Cs are slow footed. I guess I should have focused on the fumbles, TOs and fouls Magloire committed during his garbage time in the Nets game. He looked rusty and horrible, so I guess I can't be far off when I say that he may not be more than 6 fouls. If you want to believe otherwise, that's your opinion. Sorry if I don't exactly see him solving our C problem when he couldn't get playing time on a Nets team, but I would love for anything to be wrong.

Also, Kurt Thomas is far from Juwan and that is a laughable comparison. Did you watch the Spurs-Nuggets game? Tell me the last time Juwan made clutch jumpers and played hard nosed D in a tight game down the stretch?? Oh yeah, never.

IMO, kidd wants to show too much, too soon.. he wants to go "showtime" every time... i think avery wants to mold kidd into a "billups" running the half court plays, than "nash" in the open court...
Kidd has always made wild ass passes and had some wild ass turnovers. The ones that are able to be finished ends up on highlight reals. That's just the way he is and a MAJOR reason why I did not want him in a Mav uniform.

Those passes would easily be caught by Jo-Ho and the others if he actually cut to the rim instead of fading to the baseline to set up for a jump shot. I think they just need to get used to each other's habits and stuff.
