No Deron MVP talk=wtf?

Well Mo Brooks is finally getting it right. He has displaced Boozer to 13th..

He ranked Deron Williams 9th, and this is what he had to say about it:

"Since the All-Star break, D-Will has been the top point guard in the league. He has notched seven straight double-doubles and is currently the biggest reason for Utah's success. "

Thanks for the love Mo Brooks... But how hypocritical it is that he has Tracy McGrady hop from 14, behind Deron, to 7.

Take this CP3..

Deron has 39 Double doubles this season and he is ranked fifth

Anyways... I was thinking.... WTF is that? T-Mac just got propelled there. Deron Williams has played and started 64 games, while T-Mac has only played 48 games, and started 44.

Not only Deron should be the one ranked 7th, but also Chris Paul should be the one to earn MVP. Sarah, I ain't a CP3 hater. I love his game obviously, he reminds me of myself when I play Point Foward, obviously never as good as him, and I love the no tattoos thing, and genuinely good guy. But to me, the Deron has gotten no love, and all of the sudden people thing that the umbilical cord has been cut, and Chris Paul is clear out the best, but they are 1-2 and 2-1.

Anyways, this isn't a CP3 vs D-Will. No Deron MVP talk, he is getting some love, but the hypocrisy with McGrady is preposterous. Rockets are 27-4 in 2008, and the Jazz are 25-6 in 2008. Almost identical. Anyways, once again, good job.

don't worry about tracy.

that rocket team isn't a true contender. they are playing out of their minds, almost like a movie, but honesty...rafer alston as the starting point guard? mutombo. it'll come down eventually.

i think its a combination of a favorable home schedule, and playing with a chip on your shoulder. i mean if chris paul disses rafer alson after a game, you know rafer and his team are trying to prove something. chris i find tries to say the right thing in interviews.

that team has one star at the moment. while every other team, has 2 or 3 stars.

this thing of yao gets hurt and then it tracy's turn to get hurt..that team doesn't have a great future, even with this win streak.

good to see deron has moved up in those rankings.

as a total wuss, i like tats.

LeBron has to be the MVP. He is killing Kobe in EVERY SINGLE stats category except for FT%, and he has a WAY WORSE supporting cast. If LeBron had Bynum, Gasol, Fisher, and Odom he would have a better record than Boston right now.

... And that is the argument that I find most palpable for a Mcgrady MVP campaign. Its not about postseason success or the potential of, the MVP award is a season accolade. The thing about Houston is it's winning with only one definitive star. It's a squad that currently leads the elite division in the league today on seemingly one leg. Historically the Rockets have been a solid road team it's just that we've never been a great home team. Juxtapose this season they're solid both ways. I can understand someone looking at this team and waiting for the next unfortunate straw to fall but you can also appreciate it for what it is. -- An absolute oddity in this era of buying rings with 2-3 star quality players on a contending squad.
