What do I need to know and see about the home of the Bullet?

I have always been intrigued by the South. From slavery, to MLK, to big time football, to Katrina, to down south rap, it is all intersting to me. So, it is time to head down there.

The catalyst for my trip is the fact that two of my favorite athletes, Monta and Patrick Willis, rep Mississippi real hard. Shoot, I thinking about getting it across my back like David Banner.

So I open the discussion up to all those who know what's up with Biloxi, Jackson, Gulfport, and anywhere in between. Where do I need to eat? What do I need to see? Will I get faster if I let Monta's aunt chase me around the house (a reference to the And1 video)?

I was in Jackson, Mississippi a couple years ago. Arrived at the airport, picked up my rental, turned on the radio... to hear a program about squirrel hunting. "You're not in Kansas anymore."
