I bet he will be able to tell his grandchildren that he outplayed Michael Redd once.

Yes children, It isn't a myth that the stupid people of Milwaukee voted him as the 5th greatest Buck.

If you clowns don't knock it off with the personal stuff there will be some suspensions. Ridiculously immature.

This franchise has too good of a history to have Michael Redd in the top 5. Maybe top 10. Maybe.

Hey guys, good game and tough loss.

Just wanted to get some info - why do you all seem to dislike Michael Redd (Not being an ass, just curious)? He seems like a great shooter/scorer, at least a decent, possibly slightly below-average defender and a nice guy. He's getting paid a lot of money, but it's not Rashard Lewis money, either.

Why the dislike?

Redd is a max guy on an awful team. He's never been able to get us past the first round of the playoffs. Of course he's never had one all-star to play with since Ray was traded.

Mostly it is the paycheck. He's owed $51 million over the upcoming next three seasons.

And his offensive game is such that to be effective he needs to dominate the ball. But that screws up any semblance of an offense.

Then add in the fact he plays no defense. He'd be an awesome player at about $9 million a season as a spot up shooter/scorer type. But at $17mm a year...not so much.

Stupid cable signal went out, missed most of this one.

One of only two or three missed for me this year, I'm pretty pissed.

Oh well, at least I didn't miss that rare win.

I am a wizards fan who likes nick young. I went through your entire game thread, was entertaining, now I know some of the charectors on your website. Anyway like I mentioned I really liked nick young, all through draft process then we got him. Grunfeld who I think worked with milwaukee and seems like a good talent scout picked him. The history of shooting guards he has been associated with are Allen Houston who he brought to new york, ray allen who he worked with, Michael redd etc. You guys saw some of his game. Someone said Nick will be able to tell his grandkids he outplayed Redd once. I don't think this is going to be the only time. I see him play heads up against good shooting guards. Only one who he couldnt handle was Kobe. But he has the ability to score on anyone. Gils constantly hyping him. Once he's consistent and stronger I think he has more tools than Michael redd IMO. But to be honest I dont watch much of Redd anymore. I'm not sure he can carry a team far in the same way ray allen had issues.
Anyway what I really want you to respond to is unbiased assesment of nick young. His skill set and performance and where you project him in the future among shooting guards

lol he was just puffing his chest out, he's tired of Haywood making fun of him and calling him a practice dunker. But if you watch his vlog on youtube you see he;s harmless. Just an overall good funny kid. He's not the I'm going to get involved in fights, or hurt other people.
