1. Haywood - If he was given more minutes, this choice would be a lot more clear. He was incredible in the time he was given, and dominated on defense, while having a very good, above average game on offense.

2. Young - In my opinion, his best game of the season. In short stretches, Kobe-like in his offense.

3. Jamison - Had it not been for the incredibly high turnovers (and at some of the most inopportune times), he'd be higher and might even win this, but can't discard the TO's. Good overall night, though.

Gotta be Young'un. I thought Blatche and Haywood also played well.

Very strange game from Jamison, who is normally so careful with the ball. I guess he gets a couple of those per year -- especially when we win anyway.

has to be N1. 22 points as a career high, but he did it with driving to the hoop. Plus, that dunk over Bogut was sick

props to N1.

Wood did well too. The 1st quarter for him was outstanding.

Solid game from Songaila as an honorable mention. NBA has a long season, and DSong plays a longer year than most since he never misses a chance to play for his National team, but it's good to see he's been able to dial back in once the games get critical. With Jamison now suffering as well, we'll need a bit more of DS9's savvy and experience. He plays well with Roger Mason on the pick & roll.

Nick Young'n #1 of course. Rookie got feisty a couple times, feeling his oats. A few games like this and he'll start to get calls from the refs.

I give Haywood the vote over Nick Young. Yeah Nick put on a show, what with the steals, dunks and all around offensive weaponry. We did not win the game, tho, due to our offensive output.

Haywood was instrumental in stopping the Bucks inside game. It was the inside game that brought them back in the 3rd, and Haywood was about the only one who could contain Bogut.

Bogut is a pretty good player, who can pass well as well as make good moves without the ball to get into position to score. He and Royal Ivey had a good 2 man game going for awhile, esp when we were playing a small lineup.

I thought Blatche looked good as well. Songalia played well in key points down the stretch, after having a rough early 3rd quarter.

Haha, check out the ESPN daily dime

TUESDAY'S BEST
Nick Young, Wizards guard:
The rookie from USC unleashed a dunking spree to help the Wizards to a 105-97 win over the Bucks. Young scored 22 points in 19 minutes, making 9-of-15 field goal attempts.

TUESDAY'S WORST
Juan Carlos Navarro,
Grizzlies guard: They took away his pal, Pau, and he's left to contend with the Memphis mess. Navarro made 1-of-9 field goals in a 132-111 loss to the Suns.

This is the first time I feel comfortable saying this: Nick Young played a great game. Ultra agressive when attacking the rim (I totally disagreed with the taunting tech) and generally active all over.
