Dude you're a homer. Portland is also adding Rudy Fernandez who would be at least a top 10 pick this year. Also Roy is better then anyone on your team. T-Wolves might have a bright future but there isnt a GM in the league that would trade your roster for Portland's. Not in a million years.

A million years is a long time..
How about you stay off the Wolves board for that long.

You cannot be serious... Not only will they have Oden but they will also have the top Euro player, Rudy Fernandez, along with another Lottery pick. Blazers are building a legit dynasty as long as Oden stays healthy.

You can speak in generalities all you want, I'm just saying the Wolves barely lost this game despite shooting 9 FTs to Portland's 26 and turning the ball over 12 times to Portland's absolutely ridiculous 7. Wolves have tons of places they need to improve, no doubt, but I think Portland's future is over rated, or at least far more dependent on Oden's surgically repaired knee than people are willing to admit.

LMA is a rich man's Mark Blount. I prefer my 7 footers to grab a rebound once in a while.

Just speaking the truth. Im not saying Portland will be better then the T-Wolves for a million years. Players get hurt, draft picks bust or turn into studs. Ya never know but right now, no GM in the league would trade Portland's roster for Minnesota's. Exceptl maybe McHale, huh?

I'm not even a Blazers fan but what you are saying is just flat out silly. Rich man's Mark Blount??? Blazers are a YOUNGER team than the TWolves. They have tons of room to improve.

You speak of others talking in generalities and then go on to use ONE game as an example of why Portland's future is overrated... right.

BTW, LMA averages 17.3/7.4 at 22 years old. Blount's best season is 12.3/6.2... Rich man's Blount? Laughable.

That's only when you count the Wolves players who don't play (Madsen, Walker, Buckner, Doleac). The 10 players who played tonight for the Wolves are almost a full half year younger than the 10 who played for the Blazers.

Do some research-- Lafrentz and Miles are the oldest players on the Blazers roster. Miles has not played for 2 seasons and Lafrentz who is by far the oldest almost never plays. Both will be waived this summer most likely.

Yes. And that doesn't at all affect the fact that the average age of the Blazers 10 player rotation rotation tonight is about 5 months older than the average age of the Wolves 10 player rotation tonight.

Not trying to deny that Portland's best case scenario is absolutely out of the world, or that I'm just blowing steam after a crappy loss. I just don't see the Blazers improving much beyond where they are now without Oden playing at an All-Star level. And I don't buy that with a repaired knee that's just a given. I like the Wolves chances a ton to improve with the roster they've got right now, and they're going to add another piece in the draft.

I'm not going to keep argueing with you because the Blazers are not my team and this is not my board but the Blazers are younger than the TWolves-- so saying that the Blazers don't have as much room to grow, especially considering that Oden has yet to play an NBA game.

Do you read whole posts, or does your mind wonder after the first half sentence or so?

I can't say which team will be better in the future, but I do know Portland has plenty of things they could improve. The Blazers are the league's worst rebounding team, worst on the fastbreak, and worst in post scoring. Not to mention their below-average team defense. Oden could help quite a bit.

Also, nice game by a few of the young Wolves. But I guess that's probably par for the course by now.
