Bogut Didn't Quit On The Team

Fair is fair. What are the odds this thread makes it to 21 pages?

The important thing is that he acknowledged that he blew chunks in the last game and then came back and had 23,11 and 3. Given what happened in the 4th quater tonight, is it really any wonder why he may occasionally throw in the towel?

Why would we make a 21 page thread on something he's supposed to be doing game in and game out?

To show that if you're willing to be critical of him you should be just as willing to praise him when he does well?

It wont make it to 21 pages for a number of reasons the main one being this thread will probably be locked.

BTW Be sure to give Luke Pilska his props for calling Dalembert>>>>>>>Bogut two years ago.

Bogut did exactly what he should have, and quite probably no-one else on this team would have. He sucked badly last game, so his response was to publicly say he was horrible and had to do something about it, and then to do something about it and come back with an excellent game. That shows a level of character that the majority of this team simply do not posess. It doesn't excuse his crap game either, but it's the best possible response.

Bogut played decent tonight, but before we annoint him let's remember that:

a) He got most of his points on dunks/layups ala Dan Gadzuric circa 2004-06

b) Haywood and Songalia did a number at times on Bogut (Yes, they abused Gadz and CV also)

c) Chicken or the Egg....Bogut faded down the stretch in a game where we needed him to score in the fourth and hit his FT's...... Redd's fault? Bogut's fault?

I think the praise should be in the post game thread, while what happened on Sunday deserved it's own thread. Just my opinion.

Eh? I saw Bogut get his points from a variety of ways. Jumper, hook shots, off the dribble, in the post, off nice passes, through cuts and off offensive rebounds. He actually showed a decent offensive repertoire for a change I thought.

For fun and for a sense of fairness? What the hell else we gonna do in this forum? Bitch about how much money Redd makes? Been there. Done that.

I am glad Bogut came back with a nice game but his performance on sunday was inexcusable. Atleast he admits it and steps up though.

Bogut probably isn't going to be a consistent all-star player but he could be a very solid 15 and 10 guy at the center position which is pretty much Vlade Divac. This team needs a complete gutting and if a Bogut trade helps that I am cool with it.

At this point I would take 12 new guys.
"I just wanted to play because I just love the game," Jennings said. "It doesn't matter to me. I get up to play basketball. It's my job. I have to still be a professional and finish the season."

Props to Bogut for stepping and taking responsibility for his horrid game, and then showing up and playing well the next game. Thats what a leader does.

Your missing the point.

The thread isnt meant to praise Bogut for not quiting.

The point of the thread is (I assume,Europa can confirm since its his thread) that if we can have a 21 page thread after Bogut has a bad game lets see how many pages we can get when Bogut has a very solid game.

I dont think Bogut deserves a thread for simply having a solid game but he also doesnt deserve a thread for having a bad game either.
