Jack can be a vocal motivator from the bench.. .
Hopefully next season he can be it from a phone.

:P

LMAO - I can't wait for him to be GONE from this team!

This whole Nate playing Jack, who is sucking like nobody's business, and not playing Sergio at all thing is really starting to piss me off.

I'm not saying Sergio should start or claiming he's gonna be a superstar or anything like that. But Jack has been straight up horrible. That's not true. Jack has had several good games lately. I'm just being overly critical because we had a shot at winning last night's game and Jack just killed it.

Why can't Nate give Sergio a chance in games where Jack is sucking it up? Just give the kid 5 minutes. It's not like he'd do worse.

Exactly.

And that's the thing that I don't get, people are so quick to jump on Jack, but no one says a word about how inconsistent, and detrimental, Travis's play can be. Yes, he has come up big in some games, but so has Jarrett. I guess I just don't understand the distinction. Anyone care to explain to me?

Theres better players at Jacks spot & Jack is usually played over them.
Outlaw has one player better at the spots he plays and that is LMA.. .
I guess you could say James is a better SF then Outlaw but not by much.
However James is a giant key in winning in how he can spread the floor.
I think people are just frustrated when they see Jack being played at
crunch time over someone like Blake. I dont want to sound like theres
a lot of players for Nate to pick from to play over Jack, but I think its
the times he is played. You are right tho, Outlaw has up & down games to.

Thank you. That makes some sense to me.

I really am fed up with Jarrett and Travis making stupid mistakes so frequently. I mean, Martell is very inconsistent and needs to grow quite a bit, but rarely does he actually hurt us by being out on the floor. Blake, LA, and Roy have off nights but they adjust to them a bit. Jarrett and Travis just seem to keep chucking up ill-advised shots or forcing non-existent plays.
I like some things about both players quite a bit, but I guess I just heavily value sharp thinking, and reliability to at least not straight up lose you a game.

Yea - Both of those players when theyre on, look out!!
But when theyre off, they can really foul things up.. .
Jack a little more so but thats just because he handles
the ball which is part of his job. So when Jack messes
things up its felt more due to that fact.. .

It's funny everyone jumped on me when I said these EXACT SAME THINGS during our winning streak.

I guess winning games puts a blindfold on some fans. I've been saying that Nate is a horrible coach for 2 years now, and FINALLY people are starting to reiterate the same points that I've been throwing out.

So do I get an apology now or later?

Blake, Roy & Webster. But I didnt explain
myself clearly, I ment being played over
players when it matters. I know players
have to rest. Nate did a great job with
who he played and at what times he
played them in the Wolves game!!
If he did that all the time I would
have little to moan at, haha.. .

Not everyone. I've been pretty consistent in thinking Jack was greatly overrated by Nate and by a lot of fans here, and I've also been consistent in thinking Outlaw was a one-dimensional player with a low basketball IQ that doesn't help the team nearly as much as he is credited for and hurts the team if his forced shots don't go in.

That's why I'm higher on Martell than Outlaw in general--Martell doesn't force plays and rarely makes mistakes that cost us. He's not as consistent a shooter as I'd like, but I think that will come, and when it does he'll be extremely dangerous to the other team. With Outlaw, if his shot isn't falling, he's extremely dangerous to us. He has a knack of making high-degree of difficulty shots, though, that tends to disguise that he's forcing up really tough shots. He's one of those guys you imagine Nate on the bench going "No, Travis! No! No! No.... Yes!" almost every play he touches the ball (in part because he shoots almost every time he touches the ball).
