Kobe's D has not been very good this season. Lakers are simply outscoring teams like the Phoenix Suns.
I dont look at a breakaway block shot as your a great defender.
Kobe's man to man D has been horrible the last couple of weeks. He gambles all the time and gives up big shots.
Lakers are winning with there offense
Plus in 2 matchups this season, Lebron locked up Kobe and on the other end,Kobe could not do the same to Lebron.

i was watching the game, and his D wasnt good. giving up 21 points on 70% shooting is NEVER good defense. and dont say it was all on screen Because it WASNT!
Unfortunately for people such as yourself, there are Lakers fans who happen to have DVR's where we can go back and watch the replays.
Here's how Parker scored:
- 2-point turnaround jumper on Kobe.
- 3-pointer in transition before defense was set.
- 2-point dunk off a Kobe turnover.
- 2-point shot off the glass (good screen by Rasho).
- 3-pointer off of a screen/switch with Gasol guarding.
- 3-pointer with Odom guarding
- 3-pointer with Odom guarding.
He scored ONCE on Kobe where there wasn't a screen or the defense had a chance to get set. He was completely shut down in the 2nd half on top of that. I guess that's what you call terrible defense?
What say you?
That's what I thought.

Sorry, but that is flat out ridiculous. Kobe's defense has been absolutely stellar this season, and most likly the best perimeter defense played in the league this year. You are over analyzing Kobe to the point of negativity. Who are you comparing him to?.. because he is far and away the best defensive 2-guard in the league this season.

Read it and weep. I want you guys to think about the above play for a second, because in all honesty... None of us will ever see another Brian Cardinal assist to Kwame Brown ever again. Think about that... For the rest of our entire lives we will never see Brian Cardinal set Kwame Brown up for a successful dunk... Man that play was truly special...
