Game Thread: Seattle Supersonics @ Indiana Pacers

Post#1 » by Det the Threat » Tue Mar 11, 2008 4:34 pm

After losing four in a row, the Sonics will head to Indianapolis, Indiana and face the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers are having a really bad season this year, leading their owners to publicly talk about huge changes this summer, which could include everything but the owners themselves.

Injuries are also part of their problems, as all-star big man Jermaine O'Neal has missed quite some time and with a guy like point guard Jamal Tinsley having injury problems as well.

When and Where?

Tuesday, March 11th, 4:00 p.m. PT, Conseco Field House, Indianapolis, Indiana

This game will be broadcasted by FSN NW

Questions:
Will Wilcox be able to keep his solid play up?
Can Watson take adventage of them missing Tinsley?
Will Green be able to outlplay Dunleavy?
Can we keep Foster, Murphy and Diogu off the glass?

We went forward an hour. I didn't get to watch the game but looked like Durant had an efficient night

Guys.. Durant the last 7 games has taken less than 2 three point attempts, and has gotten to the FT line on an average of atleast 10+ a night

PJ didn't tell him to stop taking threes, he did it on his own, but now he's finally learning and not taking what the defense gives him

Yup.

21.5 PPG on 49% from the field in March for Durant. 91% from the line on 7.3 attempts per contest. And only 4 3PTA.

Looks like he's figuring some things out.

I'll tell you what I think from watching this game. There's not much passion left in this team. Most teams spring to life when the fourth quarter begins. The Sonics seem to be going through the motions and expect the other team to pull away rather than fight harder to win.

Real solid game by Rid. I see no reason not to keep him as a backup PG for next year after we hopefully draft a good point. Earl on the other hand is the kinda guy who'll almost demand being a starter after his solid play of late. Tough situation.
