the people inclined to vote online never saw any of these players older than MJ, and probably most were too young during his prime, although the ESPN "experts" of ex players and analysts and journalists did vote Wade the 12th best SG of all time.

Wade is our guy and I love him, but he is too high on every one of those lists.

His finals performance makes him worthy to me.

Don't read too much into it, I mean 5.1% people surveyed thought either Joe Dumars, Reggie Miller or Allen Iverson was the greatest shotblocking SG of all time. It looks like a deeply homerific and skewed to current day players list voted on by 10 year olds.

He wouldn't be on TV every other commercial and top 3 in jersey sales if everyone didn't love him.

Yea I have 5 Wade jerseys and he is my favorite player in the NBA other than Zo.

I am just not a person that posts as a homer fanatic all the time. I look at things objectively and I post criticism of my teams and players.

Wade is not one of the top 5 in NBA history at anything yet sorry.

I'd put Jerry West more clutch than Wade. He was the only guy in NBA Finals history to be named MVP on a LOSING team. He made a half court shot against my Knicks in 1970 that would've won the game today. Although he did win only won 1 Championship just like Wade and he

Sorry to stop and be like the Sopranos Finale, I went to look up West's playoffs performances and completely forgot that I posted.

I was going to write how Jerry West put up a stinker in game 5, in 1973 NBA Finals at home in Los Angeles: 5-17 fg with only 4 assists, which lost the Championship 2nd time to the Knicks in just 5 games instead of Epic 7 in 1970.

better scorer than AI? geez talk about some major homerism.

AI scored over 20 points a season for 11 consecutive seasons. wade? 4 seasons.

AI has scored 30 PPG 5 times. Wade? 0.

hell wade has scored over 27 PPG only 2x. AI has scored over 27 PPG 7 times.

there is no way in hell wade is a better scorer than wade.

plus pansy ass wade has played in only 50 games the last 2 seasons. AI has played 60+ games 9 of 11 seasons.

"pansy ass" Wade has accomplished more than Iverson likely ever will, so why are you coming to the Heat board to talk trash?

I'm not feeling this thread no more, so I'm going to lock it. If you have a problem with that, PM somebody.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?
