Thank God for Barajas!

Rios is seriously struggling though. Today has grounded into 3DPs, 1 fielders choice that could have been a DP, and has strukout. You just cant be any less productive.

Rios has been terrible this year. I was concerned about him since the first time I saw him in spring training, and unfortunately he hasn't gotten it together since.

17 hits!! My god... is this true!!?!?

The good. Barajas for MVP!!, Stewart with his first HR of the season. Scutaro continuing to see and make good contact with the ball.

The bad. Rios 0 for 6. 9 LOB. This guy is in a major slump.

I like what I'm seeing from this team now. We're finally winning games and I'm happy with how we've adjusted to injuries to Wells, Eckstein and Mcdonald. Once they get back we can only get better.

Now to hope the Red Sox keep sliding and the Rays go on a big losing streak.

Let's hope A. Hill is okay. He left the game in the 7th inning after colliding with Eickstein. This team doesn't need another injury.

Haven't you been listening to Campbell and Tablliniks? He was just in a "mini-slump" that he's recently overcome.

Scutaro, Stewart and Barajas have been good surprises lately. Now we just need Rios to pick it up a little.
