All they could've got was the KG deal without Jefferson. Are they in that much of a better position with an expiring, Telfair and Gomes?

As much as I hate them as part of the Pistons-Pacers rivalry, this is just a mess. I feel sorry for the fans, because this was once a great franchise....now its the new "jailblazers".

Never in my 23 years as a Pacers fan have I been so miserable. Not even the brawl, the collapse afterwards, or the Isiah years has made me so irritated to be a Pacers fan. This team has absolutely no identity and is going to do with Danny Granger exactly what it did with J.O. Take a borderline all star and try to turn him into the superstar that he is not. Every since Reggie grew older in years this team has been lost. Trying to find the second coming of a viable superstar and instead of allowing the growth to occur they push the guy over the plank. To me and to alot of the hardcore Pacers fans that I interact with, Jeff Foster is the face of the franchise. The underrated workhorse that we wish every player on this team was. I predict long miserable years if the Simons, Walsh, and Bird continue to run this franchise. Thing is, ill be here all the way cheering this team on.
Once they have that golden shining moment and it comes to them in a dream or whatever and they understand that, that's when this team and this franchise will go to another level from where it was when I was here.

Whomever first mentioned the TrailBlazers was spot on. That's the model Indiana needs to follow: ship out all of your bad contracts, suck for a few years, and start trying to acquire talent through the draft. Oh, and emphasize good citizens.

As a Pistons fan, hell no.

But if they really want to solve the problem, they have to dispose of EVERYTHING.

The environment seems poisonous to me. A larger rebuilding operation needs to happen. Bird isn't working.

Trades that brought Walker, Williams, and Shaq to Miami are the reason they're hurting now. That's what you get when you mortgage your future. Granted, they got a title out of it. Was it worth it?

If they get Beasly and Griffin, that wouldn't be that bad to add to the championship.
