Defense aside, he could be the most talented player on this team.
If we can get him signed to a cap friendly contract, he definitely should be looked at as a keeper IMO.
No they don't! Hush...man. They are horrible defensively like Mo and Redd are in the backcourt!
You dont know what you are saying. Yes Villanueva has had some big scoring games while Yi is out, but Yi is the better long term player and
he can get his point in the half court set and open floor.
Villanueva is a pick up type streetballer on a team that has no structure.
He is fine on a team like the Hawks that run up and down...but he is not a East Coast player!
No physicality or basketball instincts, but he is a talented man but not very skilled or smart thinking man's player.
But I like the kid though he wants to do well so I cannot really rip him like I want. He has a good heart and means well and respects the game so I dont know...
But if I had to choose between the two I take Yi and I don't care for him either! We need Al Horford and we wouldnt be talking right now and would be in the playoffs.
You need a more rugged guy next to Bogut who can help out in the low blocks and take some pressure off of him and attention away on the defensive and offensive
end.
