Bruce Bowen suspended 1 game (update pg.9)

Post#1 » by shobe_81 » Thu Mar 13, 2008 3:29 am

Ok so Kobe gets suspended for his unnatural acts right? The swinging the arm thing!

Well, why hasn't Bowen been suspended for his unnatural acts? Are they even considered Unnatural?

Here are some examples, starting with the Chris Paul play tonight:

^^ In that first clip, looks like Paul was trying to kick the basketball to Tyson.

Bowen is eventually going to get knocked out

LOL@ Kobe vs Chris Childs....

If only Kobe knew how to throw a punch.....

In all seriousness if Bowen threw that leg maybe a second later than he did in the Marion video, he could have ended a career...

If i was Wally Sczerbiak, suspension or not i would have Ron Artested bowen that night and ended a long streak of terrible sportsmanship...but then im just terribly vengeful

Does anyone on this board remember Rick Mahorn? Bruce Bowen is the modern version of him. I'm surprised he gets away with so much in this delicate era. Players in the 80s would rip the current players to pieces...literally. Honestly, I like the way Bowen plays. The league needs a little more dirt. It's too damn clean.

I don't think he intentionally kneed Steve Nash in the balls, but the rest of the plays were blatantly unsportsmanlike.

Honestly, players need to stay away from him if they have a problem. It's the league's job to babysit. Obviously, they don't he's doing much of anything wrong.

what a moronic post. how do you stay away from a guy who's guarding you? whats wrong with you?

in the world of people like this, the NBA will go away altogether. See NBA Finals ratings of 2007. Thugs like thug ball, and thugs have no money cause they live in the ghetto thus thug ball is bad for business.

It'll be a good day for the NBA when bowen is gone, which will be soon because he stinks now anyway.

Not moronic, if you understand what I was trying to say. Players and fans gripe about his defense. Common sense tells us, if a particular defender's game irritates you, find ways to circumvent their defense. He can't exactly kick you in the nuts if you've blown past him on your way to the basket. Can he?

He's been getting away with this crap for years. I'd honestly be surprised if the league office even bothers to review it.
