Do you fear the Rockets?
Are the Rockets for real? They have won 20 in a row and they are the hottest team in the league, and yet no one is talking about them. With San Antonio losing tonight and a Rocket victory they will tie the Spurs. Now the case with the Lakers, if they beat us on Sunday, they will own the West, and be at the top of the Western Conference.
Will the Rockets stay hot until the end of the season?
What kind of damage will this do to the rest of the league?
Will this affect us in any shape or form if we end up in 2nd place in the west after Houston?

I agree with the timing, their confidence is an all time high and that will transfer into the game.
However, with that said it would be nice to get a W over them and squash the confidence they have build with this 20 game winning streak.
If we ultimately get a win over Houston, not only will their confidence drop, but our confidence will rise at the same time. It can be a confidence boost for our younger players heading into the playoffs.

Where did you come from?
Well, my poing here is that next game we want it as bad as you. You are the best team in this league right now talent wise, but to win in Houston next sunday it will take more than talent, so bet if your team doesnt come with the commitment to leave it all in the court simple dont expect to come back to California with the W.
Anyway good luck for the game...

I truly believe the Lakers will CRUISE to a win, here's why;
1) The Lakers have not been playing too well the last 4 or 5 games
2) The Lakers excel on the road
3) Kobe rises up to challenges
4) The pressure of 21 in a row will be too strong for the Rocketts
NOTE: All the Teams with the top 3 or 4 Longest Winning Streaks (of All Time) all went on to win the NBA Championship that year, sadly there is no way in hell that the Rocketts will accomplish that feat.

I'm going to say no, but damn -- 20 straight wins is 20 straight wins. You don't fluke into something like that, no matter how easy your schedule might be. It's a remarkable achievement.
I admire their ability to maintain their focus despite the blow of losing Yao. I also admire their defense, which keeps them in games even when they shoot like complete garbage (like tonight).
In the end, however, I wouldn't respect myself as a basketball fan if I professed any fear for a team coached by Rick Adelman.
