It's no big deal, there'll be plenty of more blow outs for him to play in

Why play Sam only in blowouts? He's not Scal for crying out loud. He should be in there in the thick of things.

He played 14 minutes. What do you want?

I have this completely nutty, thought-free theory that Doc is limiting Cassell's minutes early on not just because he's getting acclimated, but because they're trying to set the tone about his role early on. That way they can up his minutes progressively, and then pull them back if need be, without it being much of a shock for him. Still early of course ...

He went into the game just as I posted the thread, he caught almost the final 8 minutes of the game.

I just thought, that if the reason he isnt play much is mostly to work him into things and keep the current flow going, what better time to utilize 12 minutes of real ball to do that?

Sam Cassell needs to be serious. How could he when we were way ahead? Wait until he sees some competitive minutes.
