2008 NBA Finals: Boston vs. Los Angeles?
Hey,
With these two teams atop their conferences it's a very real possibility that they could meet up in the Finals, even though the West is super tough.
I wrote an article on it comparing the starters and benches:

I really believe the Lakers would win in 7 over the Celtics. Who do you guys think would win?
PS: Please vote on the Poll!
Another PS: How great a match up would this be? *Drools*

IMO, the Lakers will not make it to the Finals this year, and I'm a pretty die-hard Lakers fan. To think that it's as easy as looking at the roster or current records is only going to lead to disappointment when they don't make it. If they prove me wrong, I'll have no problem eating my words, but that's how I feel.
Spurs over the Pistons in the Finals.

Agreed. The Lakers need to play good team defense, and they need one good playoff run to mature together first IMO. They are afterall one of the youngest teams in the league. Defense is the key, and right now the Lakers are just plain soft on that end. Bynum+Ariza certainly help, but I don't think either will be healthy enough to make the impact they need to make this year.
Our virtues and our failings are inseparable, like force and matter. When they separate, man is no more.
