This is exactly the type of play that the team needs from Pierce to make them most effective. He never forced anything, and he used himself to set up his teammates as well as I've ever seen him do. He contributed in many different ways, other than just scoring. Paul has grown in leaps and bounds this year as a player, and as a person, and his association with KG and Ray has helped to bring out the best in Paul. I have been critical of Paul in the past, at times, but games like this leaves my past criticisms without current merit, since he has addressed just about everything I ever took issue with about his game. All I can say is we're going to be real tough to beat if PP can continue to submit performances like last night!

Many might not have noticed, but Kevin Garnett (31.8 minutes), Paul Pierce (29.6 minutes) and Ray Allen (33.6 minutes) already are starting to see depressed minutes in the month of March, and it's Perkins who has been picking up the slack with 29.0 minutes per game.
so i was a little off before with the minutes, but it still looks good.
