Carr was nice in the pros as well but he blew out his knee in his rookie year (I think that's right) and never quite lived up to his promise.
Oh by the way for those that think that the Cleveland announcers are huge homers, it is because of Carr.
The remarkable point here is that LeBron should be the Cavs all time leader in scoring within a week. He's only about 140 or so points behind Brad Daugherty for the career mark.

Congrats to LeBron
Here's something from Windhorst's blog btw:

After the game in the locker room, Austin Carr when up and congratulated LeBron on passing him for second place on the Cavs scoring list. By next week, LeBron will probably pass Brad Daugherty to become the all-time leader. LeBron was very gracious and pleased that A.C. would come and personally give him the best wishes. LeBron

That is true although not only Austin but Daugherty, Price, Campy, Mike Mitchell and of course World Free were all very good scorers. It takes more than being a good scorer to lead a franchise is scoring. Health and longevity are probably the biggest two things that could derail a player.
