Gasol Injured..

Post#1 » by Eralp » Sat Mar 15, 2008 1:16 am

He will not return the game. But i hope he is ok , they are our rival but its about health.

First of all , i wanna win the lakers who was got Gasol.

Again i want to say , im so sad about this situtation, i hope not a serious injury. people said x-rays seen and were negative results.

If anyone has got an information , we will wait for his ..

David Stern loves us, it just seems like someone is paying someone to injure all the big teams we play.

He is going to Houston so he will probably still play considering how big this game is for both teams.

^^ I'd be surprised if he played. Generally with sprained ankles, they usually miss atleast 1-2 games as a precaution.

I hope he does not suit up and we get the win. I don't care quality win or not - a win is a win. Hey, West is loaded. Every single game makes a difference. Remember NO was dropped from first to fifth in 2 1/2 hours?

They have no Bynum and (possibly) no Gasol
We have no Yao and (possibly) no Landry

Injuries happen.
This will be a great game no matter what. And a win over the team your tied with for 1st in the West would be even greater!

This better not be an excuse for the Lakers fans.

It doesn't matter who you want to put Deke against. You can put Pau Gasol, Dj Mbenga, Ronnie Turiaf, or Luke Wanton. They're all going to have a sex Mutombo-ful experience.

Oh, there won't be any excuses. All things considered, it's somewhat even, but it's still on your home floor and you're playing great team basketball, so you have the obvious advantage no matter how you look at it. That, and you still have solid defenders, and that's enough to overcome bad offensive outings.

The biggest difference is that we were struggling even before the Pau injury, so this only adds insult to injury. Now, we basically have Kobe and a bunch of trigger happy 3-point shooters who haven't shot the ball particularly well lately (Radman and Farmar, primarily).

I'm sure you guys will feast on Turiaf/MBenga though. I know I would, and I'm like 3 feet tall.

They will have an excuse if Kobe Bryant gets injured tomorrow, if not, no excuse, because Yao > Gasol

I kind of wanted to face them with Gasol just to get a feel of really where we are against an elite team in the league, but I'll take it lol.

At this stage, though it's nice to see where you stack up, any win is essential to maintain a playoff spot in the West and a Gasol-less Lakers give us a better chance IMO though you do know Kobe will come out firing and he's a bad bad man and can singlehandedly win a game.
