ankle injuries don't heal fast, especially severe ones. When you watched Pau limping like that in the 1st quarter, you know its serious. My past experience with ankle injuries it takes weeks, but with the treatment and the physique of nba players , it'll be faster.

More like especially Laker ones. He'll be out for the rest of the season considering our track record. Our training staff is borderline mentally (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

Terrible news... Gasol doesn't deserve this.

Hope he recuperates soon and at the latest be ready for playoffs.

okay you guys know standard protocol when these kinds of things happen right? well, in case you forgot....

1. from here on out, blame Odom in both wins and losses. If he scores a lot blame him for taking opportunities away from kobe. if he sucks, blame him for being passive.

2. praise luke when we start playing .500 basketball. this is the guy thats keeping this team together. if we lose its because luke didnt get enough minutes to hold the lakers together, as he is the glue.

3. blame phil for lack of time outs in upcoming losses. if he would call more time outs maybe we would win some more games.

4. sasha's probably going to start missing a lot of shots now that hes not going to get so many open looks. let's all lambaste him and management if they decide to re-sign him.

5. hate on the laker PGs. HATE HATE HATE

6. Finally, BLAME RADMONOVICH. this is all his fault. everything is his fault. why we are over the cap. why we arent spacing the floor. why our offense is stagnant. blame him for everything. he's the reason we coudnt get: charlie bell, steve blake, earl watson, marcus banks, dan dickau, the birdman, etc...

Two thoughts came to my mind when I read about the Gasol injury:

First, Houston has got to be the luckiest damned team in the history of basketball! Nowitzki gets suspended when he plays them; David West was injured and missed the game against them; and now Gasol is out right before we get to play them to end their streak. As much as it pains me to say this, Houston is going to make history. Everyone should just let it happen because God wants it this way. Why else would every team lose one of their best players right before they play them?

Secondly, the main objective for this offseason for the Lakers is to hire a sports scientist to analyze the footing of the Lakers players. This is quite simply ridiculous. We have had 6 or 7 severe ankle sprains the last three years. Every single season, we lose at least one of our top 3 players to sprained ankles for extended period of time. We need someone to analyze and make corrections to the footing of our players. Suggestions such as, "When you are standing in the lane, keep your feet to yourself instead of sticking it out like a tree! When your teammate is running at your direction, move your lazy butt out of the way! " can do our team a lot of good and serves us well on our way to championship.

Just the thought of the whole team healthy, all on the floor at once. I can't wait...

Okay, Buss time to pay me millions for this analyst.

I can't get any worse, I hope ! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

That will definitely hurt our record. :banghead:

Now I really blame Radmanovic ! He shouldn't be there ! He's so lost !

For the entire bucket, let Kobe get injured...we may fall down to 7 - 8 positions again ! That's what frightens me !

What a poor Saturday ! Lewis Hamilton in pole position, now this loss with Gasol's injury ! :banghead: :banghead:

It just can't get any worse, at least today...

Pretty funny, but we blame Odom when he scores a lot for taking away opportunities from Kobe?

That's a first. Whenever Odom scores over 20 points people start hitting pinatas.
