I've always felt that if he were just a bit smarter, he could have been an All-Star caliber guard.

So much natural talent, it's a shame he hasn't really progressed as a player in this league. And he still takes some of the worst, most ill-advised shots I've ever seen.

3 on 1. Williams with the ball. Pull-up three. Grazes the rim.

you guys are so ignorant. Jason Williams is doing exactly what Pat Riley is asking of him. He is the floor leader and is making sure the Heat's record is as close to the floor as possible. J-Will is the MVP for the Heat's balls.

btw, Divac Webber and Williams were nasty passers, I loved watching them at the Garden because they would save their best for MSG as most do.

Hubie Brown is the reason he became a real PG, he is also the reason why Jason Williams sucks now, because he is playing like a real baketball player but no longer has the skill to do so.

I always felt white chocolate was overrated. While he was exciting to watch his assist to turnover ratio has always been an embarrassment. you never knew if he was going to dazzle you with insane passes or make you want to puke with the behind the back no look pass going 15 feet from the nearest teammate 6th time in a row. Your playmaker should not have the 2nd lowest basketball IQ on the roster.

I held this belief for a long time. Then I checked up his stats recently and realized his turnovers/game were, outside of one season, never terrible. Needless to say, I was surprised.

I also vote that he brings back some of the fancy moves with the Heat in tank mode. Pistol Pete made his middling team worth watching back in the day; Williams should do the same.
