as a backup he cant be worse than arroyo.. J will chucked it pretty fast though.. idk.. I don't know if he'd be a big upgrade over Arroyo next year when hes a year older.... we really need a big first

JWill just happened to make the terrible shots he took. I still want nothing to do with the guy.

With this win, the Magic have matched their team record for road wins in a season at 23.

Congrats!

Orlando is now 25-0 when holding teams under 95 points.

I'm so happy when Jameer does so well, unlike Arroyo or Dooling he's capable of being a good PG. Meer should get all credit, for once. It would motivate him to play like this all the time. He found Hedo in the final minute in clutch, that was a great pass. But aside of that, he shot the ball well, no TO's and 7 assists if i'm not mistaken. He really played as a PG in a system.

And are the Miami commentators one of the best you've seen or what ? Yeah it might have something to do with them sucking this year, but even in their championship year they were very classy. They had a lot of respect for the Magic and kept praising us. And the worst of them all has to be the Boston commentators, the word homer would be an understatement for these fools. They think Boston is playing against Boston where every call should be in favor of Boston, ugh.

The Magic would have lost this game last year.

Good win even with the struggle.

Yes, of course. He hurt enough on Thursday to be excused from practice, so I'm sure he wasn't 100% on Friday.

I reject the idea that the Magic still play down to the opposition -- at least any more than other good teams. All fans say this about their teams, but the main reason is that they expect wins when they are playing "inferior" teams, so those losses stand out. The fact is that we are 29-8 against teams at or below .500 and 14-16 against teams above .500.

No team can consistantly maintain the same intensity in an easy game as they do in one that is really big. Teams can't regularly maintain full intensity in a blowout lead. But did you seriously ever think the Magic weren't going to win last night? I didn't. The players clearly didn't. They looked relaxed and confident. I was watching the Miami broadcast, and when they were tied in the fourth, the camera went to SVG. He wasn't pounding his fist on his head or shaking it in the air, yelling at the team or even watching intently. He was chatting with his assistants. He knows that scrubs and young players can get hot and go off for a lot of points, but when it comes to the end of the game, team play wins, and they aren't going to be able to compete.

The Miami commentators were awesome. They had done the homework on our team, clearly loved our coach, and were fair and realistic in everything they said. No disrepect to our guys, but I enjoyed them much more. The home announcers don't praise our good players so much and tend to get hung up on whatever is going wrong. Hmmmm... does that sound like anyone else?

The Heat played a great game. Give them credit for not giving up even though there were severly undemanned. Glad we got the win, now moving on and concentrating on tonight.
