Terrible game! Pierce didn`t really looked like he wanted to be out there. And it would probably be better if he stayed at home. KG had his worst game as a celtic...And Rondo has been really struggling in the last few games. He needs to be more aggressive and get to the rim, if he is not he is useless on offense.
A very disappointing game.
Hopefully Ray`s injury isn`t too serious, we need him!

Good to hear from you. I missed you throughout our 10 game win streak that you didn't post during.return2glory wrote:We got our asses kicked at home. How embarassing.
The reasons we lost:
1. Ray got injured.
2. Doc got outcoached. No suprise there.
3. KG couldn't carry us. I'm not suprised here either, but I'm sure many are.
4. Pierce didn't show up.
5. We missed too many free throws.
6. Rondo's defense sucked. He gamble too much for the steals and couldn't keep Deron in front of him.
It was hard to see us lose by 18 at home. If Ray played the entire game, I still think we would have won.
Just glad you could get around to making a post mentioning KG can't carry us when we finally lose after winning 10 straight, including a dominant performance where KG (you may know him as "he the incapable of carrying a team") carried us to victory against the Pistons and dominated Rasheed Wallace.

1. Doc sucked BIG TIME!. No Perk in the 4th until it was too late even though he was the best player last night?
And Baby instead when he hadn't done nothing to earn playing time in the 4th over Perk. What an idiot coach we have. I'm not feeling confident come playoff time with this idiot as the coach, sorry.
2. Pierce sucked
3. KG sucked and played soft
4. Rondo sucked, both offensively and defensively. Couldn't knock down a layup to save his life.
5. Eddie House running the point instead of Cassell (another Doc complaint). Wasn't it established that the C's needed Cassell because House was not a point guard? Well, why the heck is he still playing the point?
I never could stand Doc, but ever time I point out a mistake of his, someone responds with the record. I'd like someone to respond with the regular season record, when Doc costs a game in the playoffs (which I hope doesn't happen btw-- I will be rooting for Doc even though I can't stand him as a coach).

to me, i dont have a problem with doc not playing cassell. cassell hasnt practiced yet and that was not the game to "see what he has learned." it was a crappy game all around.. from the opening tip we had ZERO energy.. it happens, the jazz out played us played harder and wanted it more.. On to the next

"way better" ???

Agreed that if these two teams met in the Finals it would be a great series. As Celtics fans we look at how poorly Garnett/Pierce played, and just when Ray Allen is starting to come into his own, with his history against Utah, he gets hurt - we are disappointed with the end of the game - with the score not really indicative that it was close in the 4th quarter.
So I guess the best way to put it would be Utah is more than capable of winning a series against Boston, but if both teams played their best I believe Boston would win in 6-7 games
