Friday morning at work just going through the flow, but busy as hell. Had a minute or two to check the net, and low and behold I checked realgm and i hear that Pau headed to the Lakers. In my mind i was thinking there must be a mistake, maybe it is just a rumor. There hasnt been much talk on the big sites about a mem-la talk. so i never figured it happen. Then i check hoopsworld, and there it is, then i check espn and there it was, then i check foxsports, there it was, then i check hoopshype, there it was.....I was speechless but with a huge gin on my face. All i could say was what a Friday. All i can say is that i have no idea how Mitch managed to get this trade done, whether he spoke to the Logo to see if there was any loops to get him, but i applaud mitch for this trade. it was the greatest move he has made, so far besides not trading kobe to the bulls or pistons. All i could think about was PAU, BYNUM, LO -Frontcourt.....HUGE FRONTCOURT. KOBE and DFISH-Veteran BackCourt......ARIZA-DEFENDER, SASH- pesky defender, FARMAR and TURIAF-Energy guys, Luke, vlad, dj, mihm, coby....wow WCF. I already imagined us playing the spurs without any fear at all. Still speechless with that trade. haha GREAT JOB MITCH. GM OF THE YEAR I SAY!

The question here would be.... what does Stern have to do with it?

I was at work and immediately thought...

"Wow, Miles called it..."

I think he was the first one pulling for us to make that move, way back before Kobe did the 'trade-me' dance...

My reaction: Saddened by the departure of the great Kwame " I have no hands" Brown. NOT. Seriously, Brown had the hands of a vietnam vet with both arms amputated.

I didn't realize how good a fit Pau would be but I was very happy considering what we gave up. ANd now, pau is injured. :(

The basketball gods are mad at the lakers. Probably has to do with the Lakers waiting so long to depart with Kwame Brown.
