Good win. 3 back in the loss column for the division, anything can happen. 3 out of a top 4 spot; tied with Utah for home court if we get to the 5 spot. We get LA twice, Phx, SA, Utah once, we're in control of our seeding.

I'd rather see blowouts to these teams than see them within 5 to teams that have no buisness being within 5.mavfan33 wrote:We took care of buisness again. I'm getting bored with these blowouts though. Can't wait to see the Lakers on Tuesday.
But yeah, its these type of games that are either boring or will stir a fire or trade somebody rant.
Except for the 2 Clipper games, all the games between March 18th to April 6th should be exciting.
Lakers (twice)
Warriors (twice)
Celtics
Spurs
Nuggets
Suns

now we're talking!

im gonna be watching those games closely... those will be our barometer on how far we could go in the postseason.... hopefully we'll end up with more wins than losses during that stretch...

In the past it was Stackhouse... then Diop.
Wright and mags don't really count, at least now.
Allen and lue are just role players.

Whether or not they're roleplayers, communists, all-stars, etc. is irrelevant; it's all about the game.
Ok, i think both are mediocre players. They're not part of what I could consider as a deep bench.
I don't see them having any impact in the POs but wish sincerely to be wrong.

Here is where Lue SHOULD prove you wrong Mr. Turner. IF you never see JET running the point in the playoffs - Lue is playing meaningful minutes...
IF we limit the amount of time that Bass and Dirk play together then Allen and/or Mags is producing.

10:20 (pm, 6/29/06) The Mavs take Maurice Ager at No. 28... Ager walks up to the stage in a triple-breasted, oversized beige suit, goes to shake hands with Stern and immediately gets whistled for a foul on Dwyane Wade.

Like I said, it's all about the game. Portland had a bench 5 or so years ago that was loaded with names and talent (i.e. Augmon, Strickland, Mcinnis), but they weren't productive. Hell, the deepest benches in the league this year (Pistons and Lakers to be exact) comprise primarily of roleplayers who wouldn't even start on most teams, but they're pretty darn effective and that's all that matters.

That's probably true, but that neither affirms nor negates the label of a "deep bench"
