Temple wins the battle of Philly, taking out St. Joe's in Atlantic City (what a venue). Stanford misses a 3 at the buzzer and falls to UCLA. And the SEC tourny just continues to be wild. Steven Hill, who hadn't scored all day, hits the game-winning turnaround with 7 seconds to go as Arkansas knocks off Tennessee by 1. No #1 seed for the Vols now.

If we **** make it to the tourney by winning Big Ten, I will be very happy
First the federal government borrowed money; then gave the money to Bank of America; then I borrowed some of that money from Bank of America and gave it to the federal government; then the federal government gave the money back to Bank of America.

The small conference tourney finals went right down to the wire as well, with Coppin State (who entered this conference tourney with 12-20 record) and Miss Valley State winning in the final seconds
Meanwhile Georgia won both ends of their morning/evening SEC doubleheader in rather improbable fashion to continue as charmed (?) march to the SEC title game
some really fun games to watch today (and extra bonus (for a Duke hater like me) of Duke going down to Clemson)

Polynice4Pippen wrote:Watching Georgia/Kentucky it seems like Kentucky is feeling sorry for themselves for having to potentially play 2 games in one day. Georgia on the other hand is playing with so much more spirit and energy. They know they have nothing to lose and unlike the Cats, the Dogs look like they'd relish the opportunities to play 2 games in one day and shock the basketball world by prevailing. They could ride some adrenaline (and Sundiate Gaines of course) all the way to the title game tomorrow. I just don't like Kentucky's body language.
Told ya.

Haha, Charles Smith in the house rooting for his Pitt Panthers. I'm surprised they actually let him come back in the Garden. Pittsburgh trying not to lose yet another Big East title game. They're doing it for Aaron Gray!
