He just needs a sense of urgency and a source of motivation that will keep him going for the next few years. Hopefully, he can keep the same level of intensity until when he's around 32.

i think this winning streak has made tmac a believer. he only gets down when he has injuries that sideline him for long stretches (like this yr where he was highly frustrated).

i think when yao returns next yr, he will think the team can go all the way.

i have never seen tmac play with this much passion for EVERY game since yao went out EVER (since the 02-03 season). dude is locked in on almost every play now. it's amazing to see.

Are you serious? T-mac has at least 4more great years left in him, I think the system with Yao has held him back.

it's not necessarily the system with yao. i feel when he plays with yao and yao does well, he feels like he has to defer. and when he does that, he's not putting a lot of effort into the game, he's not very focused. as a result, his play suffers.

notice the moment yao is out, not only does he score more, but he shoots MUCH better, and you can see his effort.

it's all about effort and focus with tmac. if he has those, he's a top 5 player.
