IT WILL CONFUSE THE MASSES!!
I think that name is unavailable since you used it...but the properly spelled "emeraldchild" is readily available.
If this board becomes an OKC board, I think "emeraldchild" (formerly known as Sweezo) will go on a trolling binge like the world has never seen. [/fake joking]

The micheal thing was the only thing that advanced the story, I would call everything else filler.

sun being the last of the oceanic six and finding out that jin dies in the near future is just "filler"? ok. and yeah, Harold Perrineau Jr's name has been in the opening credits since the first episode of the new season. so you knew he was coming back at some point.
Don't act like you're not impressed.

I guess I'm not such a huge "Lost" afficionado... I don't know the names of any of the actors, except Evangeline Lilly and Matthew Fox (and even the latter name took me a while to remember; he was always "that guy from Party of Five"). So that one just slid by me unnoticed.

Saw this link posted in the David Stern Time Magazine interview webpage and thought that given our current situation, this is something that could make us laugh. Well I thought it was funny anyway.

Oh goodness, that was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. Thanks for linking it.

I'd like to go with "Ex-hippie." And then I promise I will lose the seizure-inducing Dock Ellis av, since it will no longer be appropriate.
Behold!

I was looking at the number of posts the Sonics, Seahawks, and Mariners forums have in relation to other team forums. The Sonics forum ranks 26th in the number of posts, the Mariners 8th, and the Seahawks 9th.
Does this in any way accurately reflect how Seattleites feel about their professional sports teams in relation to each other?

Probably. It's very hard to be interested in a product that isn't fun to watch, especially when you know you won't be able to enjoy the fruits of the rebuilding process.
The divide is especially notable on the east side of the state. You can hear water cooler chatter about the 'Hawks and M's regardless of the time of year, but no one talks about the Sonics. And it's been that way for years.

yeah, you're right sweezo. there is a very small number of us here in wenatchee that talk about the supes. i mean VERY small. most of the rest talk M's and hawks and are up on the current state of affairs with those teams. on the other hand, i talked to a guy yesterday who thought ray allen was still with the sonics. yikes.
