I'm happy that such games just show us who we are and where we are !
No way, eve with Bynum and asol in the roster we'll win something this year. At best, 2nd round in the playoffs...
They're without Yao and still manage to win, they deserve to win all this year ! What a poor week-end, one of the poorest I've experienced in my whole life...
This Triangle System sometimes just upsets me, they way our PGs defend the others too ! How could you allow Alston to score 8 threes on us ??!!
We're in a big sh...t !

Can we get our roster back healthy yet? We haven't had a healthy roster for so long. This game proves nothing. Once we get our twin towers back, and get Ariza back with his perimeter D, we'll be fine. Besides, the real season doesn't start until the playoffs anyways. We just got to tread water for now.

I know this much is true, the Lakers must find a defensive minded guard because we don't have one. It's common sense to know if you help double your man is going to get the ball.
Or if you sag towards the paint your too far away to get back to your man. Fisher is a constant victim of this. Why do our guards like to help in the paint instead of staying home with shooters that are on fire ? Especially when teams have no post presence at all.

Exactly. Lamar played about as well as Lamar will play tonight. I was happy with his overall performance...at least in the second half.
What bothered me was the defense on Alston. I think they should have brought in Sasha about 4 minutes earlier, but what can you do?
Man, I cannot even fathom what having Pau and Bynum together will be like. I don't care if that's mid April, the playoffs, or next season....I'm still pretty damn stoked for that.

Good game guys, Lamar played a terrific game, Kobe was showing up and I was really scared because he was really aggressive, I haven't seen him play like this since the 2004 finals against the pistons. But I doubt we stay up this high, you guys will likely take the number 1 spot, again great game, and best of luck.

I love role players who with one good game think their all of a sudden superstars.
Let's explain a matchup in a month.
PG Alston vs. Fisher: a wash
SG:Bryant vs. McGrady: yes, clearly advantage LA
SF: Odom vs. Battier: clearly advantage LA
PF: Gasol vs. Scola: clearly advantage LA
C: Bynum vs. Mutombo: clearly advantage LA
6th Man: Ariza vs. Jackson: advantage LA because Ariza will shut him down
Coaching: Don't make me explain please
Look, Houston is rolling. I overreacted earlier with some things, but Vlad and Luke will not see the floor come the playoffs and that's what kills us
Cool Houston, you're going to pull a Phoenix or Dallas and get a #1 seed, but guess what? You're peaking in March, while we'll be peaking in April and May.
Rafer, remember today. It's your best game ever, and will forever be your best game ever. You're a show, not a point guard. That will be exposed when it matters
See you in April and May
