Huh? Why would I say that? Since 2005, I have never said McGrady was better Kobe.

What I wish we would see more is that lineup of Mbenga and Ronny. I know we don't have the depth to run that for very long, since Ronny is playing big minutes starting and all, but I think we need to start roughing teams up.

Don't be offended. I think something was lost in translation or something. Good game man. Hope to meet you guys in the playoffs.

Lakers were clueless with there halfcourt offense and didn't take advantage of there strengths and went away from what was working. If Kobe is 21-33 then keep on shooting, but when your not shooting well, you have to defer to the guy who is shooting well.

That's true snaq, nobody was shooting well. But then again I felt like the offense was stagnant today, so nobody was getting good looks for the outside. It's a self-perpetuating cycle that just turns into Kobe having to be aggressive when it isn't part of the natural flow of the game.

I give credit to Houston for packing it in, but let's not forget what Pau would have done for ball movement. The triangle is so much more smooth when we have some sort of post-presence to run it through.

Half of Houston's work was done for them in that respect.

damn, i dont know if i can take another week of this BS. I hate coming home from school and watchin an hour of espn(PTI and ATH) talkin about the streak. I really wish we could have ended the streak but we played piss poor. I also think that the rox are crazy lucky-all the good teams they've played have been against teams with one of their top players out (hornets/dallas/lakers) and does anyone know if ray allen is playin this week? cus that would be even more luck. Im not trying to take anything away from the rockets but seroiusly, its not fair how they can have so much luck and the lakers have none. the rockets played a hell of a game, but Alston pissed me off with this show at the end of the game, very un sportsman like, Vujacic had every right to get into his face after that.

We do need some physical, scrappy players on our team. That's one thing I'm looking forward to this off-season. Now that we have a better idea of what we'll get with Bynum, plus Pau at PF...we definitely have a new core.

The Lakers need some bruisers on this team. Next year I really look for us to tighten the screws and make this a strong roster. Sure when healthy we're deep, but we're deep with a lot of soft D in the middle. I say lock up Ronny and Ariza (if his foot can stay healthy) and then our core of Kobe/Bynum/Pau and the rest is in the air.

I'm not covering anything, but if you want to look at one instant and say that that's where everything went wrong then I'd have to disagree with that view on life.

What about the 2 free throws that Kobe missed over the course of the game?

Or the fact we let them shoot 12-26 from the 3?

The fact that we were passing up relatively good looks to give it to DJ Mbenga?

The fact that Ronny got his 4th foul immediately in the 3rd quarter?

The play where Sasha stole it and then got blocked on a fast-break?

The 22 shots Kobe missed?

What about all of these plays? Because last time I checked they all counted. Bottom line, we are spread thin, injured, and we didn't bring it for 48 minutes today. We needed to outplay them to beat them and we simply didn't do it. That 35 points in the second quarter clinched it.

Sorry, but I'm not blaming this game on one player. This was a collective team loss for our Los Angeles Lakers.

At that moment Lakers were down 4 right there, doesnt matter what Kobe did or didn't do, bad defense, at that moment we were right there.

Lamar blew it, from there the rockets took over...

Why is this so hard to take? We played bad D, Kobe was off, but we were right there..

at the 7:48 mark kobe missed a free throw that would have cut the lead to one (2-4 ft's for the game), lakers never got that close again.

kobe blew it, from there the rockets took over.
