Looking back on ESPN Predictions

Marc Stein was the only person from the list of ESPN Analysts having us going 1st in the Atlantic and East and it seems like he's going to end up correct (Barring Any Kind Of Boston Losing Streak Detroit Winning Streak Combination)

Two of them had The Raptors ending up as Atlantic Champs also Bucher and Sheridan had us going 5th and 6th respectively in the East. Crazy huh?

greg anthony's analysis was pretty close

A much-improved defensive team with the firepower of KG's best Wolves team but playing in the weaker East. Posey's perimeter D is a key. House's role will be important, as will Rondo's development.

everyone else cited the bench, blending of egos/talents, and injuries

none of which has been a serious issue

LOL no clue why espn was so in love with the Bulls and hated the Celtics so much. Bulls 2nd, Celtics 3rd?

Bucher-
The Kool-aid remains untouched in this corner. Playoff team, yes. Title contender? Everybody has evidently forgotten how much depth and transition D divide the haves and have-nots in the postseason. They're about to be reminded.

I love it. If only writers had the same accountability they demand of athletes. At the end of each season they should just have to write an article, or if they're a tv personality face the viewers, agknowledging their mistakes. That'll be the day.
