Don't confuse yourself kobe is actually very close to michael jordan maybe not in accomplishments but in actual ability hes right there (undeniable fact). Shaq is a MUCH MUCH more dominate player then pip. Simply put i think jordan has an extremely slight edge on kobe and shaq has a substantial lead on scottie. This is coming from a long time bulls fan.
Except prime Shaq and prime Kobe never played together. Kobe was not in his prime when playing with Shaq. And even if he was, do you think prime Kobe would put up the same numbers he has the last 3 years playing with prime Shaq? I think not. The Bulls were a WAYYY premature Jordan retirement away from winning 8 straight titles. This is Jordan and Pippen all the way.
It took 10 frickin' years, but we've finally got a legitimate franchise player to lead us back to the top.

Actually that is an opinion.

Jordan and Pippen played from 1988-1998 together and won 6 titles in 10 years. And that's including the 1995 season.
Kobe and Shaq played from 1997-2004 together and won 3 titles in 8 years.

Kobe has the talent to be as good as MJ, but he will fall short simply because he won't have the accolades that MJ has. Even if you were to say they were equal in talent, MJ will always have him beat because he would have him in all the important accolades and categories
MVP's - Jordan = 5; Kobe = 0 (right now)
Titles - Jordan = 6 (as the #1 Option); Kobe = 3 (as the #2 Option)
Finals MVP's - Jordan = 6; Kobe = 0 (right now)
DPOY - Jordan = 1; Kobe = 0
Scoring Titles - Jordan = 10; Kobe = 2
Career PPG - Jordan = 30.1 (Highest Ever); Kobe = 24.9
Playoffs PPG - Jordan = 33.4 (Highest Ever); Kobe = 23.3
Playoff Points - Jordan = 5987 - Most Ever Points (179 games); Kobe = 3053 (131 games)
FG% - Jordan - 50% Career; Kobe = 45% Career Thus Far
Playoff FG% - Jordan = 49% Career; Kobe = 44% Career Thus Far
PER (Offensive and Defensive Rating) - Jordan Career = 27.91 (highest ever); Kobe = 23.59
Steals - Jordan = 2.3 SPG Career (with 3 Steals Titles); Kobe = 1.5 SPG
Blocks - Jordan = 0.8 BPG Career (most blocks ever for a guard in two seasons); Kobe = 0.6
There is no argument here until Kobe can close the gap in the main categories. You can possibly say that Kobe has as much talent as MJ, but no where is he near to being as good or better.
This guy is like John Hollinger Jr. or something.

what do you mean by that? Jordan was the stronger, quicker, and more explosive of the 2 and had bigger hands and lateral quickness.
I think you confused Kobe with Vince Carter.
At this point, I think Kobe is more talented than Carter. Carter isn't as talented as he used to be.

that's debatable; Carter got bad knees but I still see Carter do things that Kobe can never do even in his athletic prime. But there really isn't anything (in terms of physical movement), that Carter can't do that Kobe now, even the Carter now.

Undeniable fact? Actually, JordansBulls gave us undeniable facts, you gave us you're lousy opinion trying to sell it as fact...

Obviously MJ/Pippen won more so they take the more successful award easily.
But if I'm building a team I will take a dominant SG/C over a dominant SG/SF just as easy.......

IMO it's comparing apples and oranges really... you can't really compare Shaq against MJ or Pip (regardless of whether you compare Kobe to MJ as a SGs or to Pip as a second banana)...

Edit: I detest MJ. Pippen and Kobe.
How did you come to that conclusion? Because Luc Longley is gonna hold Shaq down? lol. The Shaq-Kobe teams had almost the same regular season and post season success, just not over length of time like Jordan and Pip had.

Good thing the Zen-Master is smart enough to not assign Longley to single cover Shaq when he has Rodman and Pippen for some help defense.

If they are playing 2 on 2 then I have to go with Kobe and Shaq.
If they are playing 5 on 5 I have to go with Kobe and Shaq.
If we are talking about their respective accomplishments and who was the best during their time then Pippen and Jordan.
If we put Kobe and shaq into the early early 90's and Jordan and Pippen into the current NBA then it would again have to go to Kobe and Shaq.
Jordan may be the most dominant player ever but Kobe and Shaq would be more dominant.
Shaq is just a different kind of center the bigs back in the day wouldn't have been able to really handle him when he got into his prime.

Umm, SHaq played all throughout the 90's, including the early part.....
