There are things written in various places that say TMac is really 6'10" with shoes on (he supposedly grew a few inches after his draft measurements).

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

That "shoes on" argument is fairly common. People use it all the time to claim that Yao is 7'6 or even 7'7.

I'm still sticking with 7'5 for Yao and 6'8 for T-Mac. I'm stubborn.

I don't see it. I might be blind though, I just woke up about an hour ago. He sure played semi-Jordan in the last game.

he's shorter obviously, but if you glance over it real quick for the first time he really looks like Jordan. His face is a little more droopy though.

Only reason I'm inclined to believe that with McGrady and LeBron (who I recently read a quote from him that said he is now 6'9" 260 instead of 6'8" 240) is because they came in straight out of high school and you can still grow between 18 and somewhere around 21-23 (I know Rodman was only around 5'6" and ultra-scrawny when he was 18 - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Rodman). Yao was 22, so I'll stick with his predrafts as well.

The NBA player that looked most like Jordan imo was Mookie Blaylock. Facially, they were pretty close. Anyone else remember Mookie?
