If we show any semblance of defense and Joe stays hot, we have a good shot in this one.

I don't like our chances. We're on the road on a back-to-back. I think AU said it best, we need JJ to keep ballin' or we're in trouble.

I'll be at the game tonight annoying the Wizards fans. They usually have pretty good crowds there even for Hawks games.

Wiz fan here. I think this game will go down to the wire. You can always tell when a team finally gets "it" and I think you guys finally have flipped that switch. With us you can tell that Caron being back is great but he's super rusty and its somewhat making us struggle even more in alot of stretches. I always hate playing you guys with your atheletes and Bibby is another guy who has had some good games against us. Joe is hotter then anyone in the league right now but Deshawn is one of the best defenders in the league. That will be a great matchup.

PS- Arenas is having his MRI today. Gil is the type of guy that could hear good news and surprise everyone by playing tonight but he said that he wont be back until Wednesday or Friday if he hears good news

I would love Gil to play on a sprained knee. I think he is the most overrated star in the league. I am looking to Horford and SMith to have monstar games today.

Antwain Jamison is coming off a monster game where he refused to let his team lose. Hopefully he is burnt out from that, because Caron is still off a step and that will help too. Joe is in for a rough night getting hounded by stevenson. Hopefully he keeps giving the ball up quickly like he has the last two games.

Just curious, what about Arenas says "overrated" to you?

If the Hawks don't rebound better than the last time we faced the Wizards it will be ugly.

lol@Deshawn Stevenson. How dare this bum say anything about Lebron when he can't even score vs the Hawks.

I hate playing Washington. It seems like we outplay them every game but we let them hang around until the end and then they find a way to win (or we find a way to lose).

Pretty good game. Back-to-back road wins is always nice, a near miracle for the Hawks. We really shut them down in crunch time. They only scored 4 points (all of FTs) in the last 6 minutes before Daniels garbage time bucket. That was beautiful.

And yes, props to Horford. He played great tonight. Joe's shot cooled off this game, but he still defended well (that one possession on Butler was perfect) and had 10 assists with no turnovers. That's what good players do.

Only 1 coaching mistake by Woody(sitting Smith out the beginning of the 4th after missing all of the third which led to alot of Washington layups).

The refs were pretty bad for both sides but I think we got the majority of the calls. It's only right considering we basically gave Washington the win last time with unforced turnovers and missed free throws.

Horford really had trouble with Haywood to start the game but had a great 2nd half...we scored alot of points off his offensive rebounds. Chils with another solid game(when did he get a jumpshot?)but why would he throw that idiotic full court pass to Joe when up 8 with 2 minutes left? Joe and Bibby had a good number of demoralizing jumpshots in the 4th quarter. I'm really suprised that we won.
