Augustine is a starter calliber PG next year depending on the team. He can come in and play right away like Paul or Conley did.

Collison and Augustin each should eventually mature into NBA starters-but at this stage are not ripe to suceed in that role. Collison's speed and drive and dish ability may help him succeed a bit quicker. Augustin has a little more "pass first' mentality and perhaps more range..so that can close the gap as he gets experiance. Yeah...Conley stared but was hardly a big success. 1 or 2 years of college is pretty minimal experiance for NBA PG unless it's a guy with freaky instincts (Magic Johnson).

Arthur is a nice athlete.

However, he has a lot to learn about the game of basketball, and I think a few years in college would help him.

He's developed this cockiness to him that I don't like, and i think it stems from him being over hyped as a high schooler.

But yes this is my opinion.

I'd tend to agree. From what I have seen...yeah,he's a guy who looks the prototype and he has his highlight moments but he's really too up and down and seldom is a dominant force in a game. I'd like to see him a more effective rebounder-defender. I'd like to see his head in the game full time and full tilt. Right now....given a choice,I'd much prefer Hansborough. He tends to give all you'd expect and some more. If I'm spending a hard earned high #1,I want a guy who's on a mission.

That's also why I'd take Hibbert over Thabeet. The guy with the work ethic and goals will tend to improve the most over time. It's great if a guy has the physical tools to improve a lot. But what's in a player's head is often what seperates an All Star from a bench rider.
