I am giving it to Sam. He brought us back in the second quarter when the game seemed lost.

Went with Sam. Really hit some big shots, great defensive play on Parker's fast break attempt too.

Tough call, many great points brought up in this thread. I'm going with Pierce. This was a very encouraging game from him. He was very active and focused on both ends of the court. He hit the boards hard. He frequently made strong cuts without the ball. This is the Paul Pierce I want to see in the playoffs.

Cassell was huge. Rondo made several important plays but offset some with poor judgments or mental lapses. KG was KG. And, actually, I liked the minutes House played last night as well.
Baylor is Brat.

As soon as Sam Cassell came in we started kicking ass. Rondo was dreadful in the first quarter, but he was like a new man in the 2nd half.

Sam gets my vote out of the two.

I agree. Cassell came in second, imo. Rondo third. I didn't give it to Rondo because I think Rondo was the main reason the C's were down in the first place with his terrible play and and poor shot selection. To his credit, he did, however, turn it on and played great the 2nd half.

But Sam that is what the MVP does.

Darrendaye nice call on Eddie House he really was disruptive on the defensive end tonight which was big because to start that game the Spurs were running their stuff better than they do in shootaround with no one else on the court.

The turn point was when Sam came in.

rondo, that third quarter was just awesome. sam kept us afloat in the second but rondo just killed their spirits during the third quarter.

getting the offensive rebound to seal the deal, just icing on the cake.

I just love the fact that we have so many players to choose from to actually think about giving these cigars too.

Tough choice between Sam and Rondo, but I went for the latter.

Rondo's play in the third quarter is what closed the Spurs lead. He drove on the entire Spurs at will and made Parker look like the shell of Gary Payton.

I can't wait for tonight's game!

Tony Allen should have been included in the list of choices for MVP for his defense on Tracy McGrady.

Nonetheless, I would have voted for Leon Powe, if the Poll had not already ended when I made this post.
