I'm surprised at 4th place as well. Disappointment will either make you "bitter" of "better", I would bet the latter for you Aimee! I can't wait for the day when I can say, "I knew her when....."

I think I am done with asking you guys for favors, although I do appreciate your thought. Total truth is this...
1. Aimee was interviewed on Monday never to be heard from again, and five days later they vote, that has to hurt. In fact, the band who won was interviewed in the studio four hours before voting started.
2. This station isn't her genre. She is folk/blues/rock where this is a hip hop station, so finishing fourth out of over 600 enteries I think is pretty darn good.
3. Contest is determined by votes, not talent. On Talent I think Aimee wins hands down.
4. The other kids in the contest worked hard as well.
So we chalk it up to another positve experience, and keep on keeping on, because she will be a full time entertainer/recording artist soon.
The exposure was good. You guys were great, ALL is good
Just be sure to buy her new CD this summer, a great gift for women.
Women go crazy over Aimee's music, so keep that in mind for birthdays and Holiday's
