Very good win. AJ stepping up big without Beno. Love those alley-oop passes to Martin.

Someone should tell him that they are a game or so out of being in the lotto right next to us.

I can hear it now....
Warriors with the 14th overall pick select.....Tywon Lawson.

The bottom line is that the Warriors rely a ton on outside shooting, which is a very inconsistent thing to rely on. So when they don't make them, they're easy to beat..

Agreed! Also the same can be said of us. Moore coming around, catching passes, has helped our inside game some... still if our outside games not on...we're gonna lose pretty much of the time.

This Win Was Soo Sweet!!

Creating a winning attitude, in which the franchise works to a common goal, I've been calling for a long time to play the young guys more(like you said),
but tanking is repugnant, i well never ever condone tanking.

Definitely a quality win

Shouldn't of gotten that close before we got the lead back up well later in the 4th there

Anthony Johnson played fantastic, really filled in better than I thought.. played like his Pacer days.

Serious loss by the Warriors, they had one of those games they can have

a-rod wrote:how did lose the game after leading by 22 at home.......

I assume you mean the Spurs game - I don't see how that's relevant in this thread at all.

But yeah, that big lead was in the 1st qtr, early 2nd, and the Celtics are a very effective team on both ends, and got back in the game. That's how they lost the lead. Wasn't surprised at all the Celtics made it a game, and wasn't surprised the Spurs lost. It could of went either way.. If anything I was surprised by the hot start by the Spurs.

I voted for them also  . MJ/MJ/LB+me+you vs the 8 people who voted with the hot chicks+the 3 hot chicks.

Seriously though, playing basketball with the 3 hotchicks doesn't make any sense. If it was for real a pick up game you'd be passing them the ball, not banging/dating them/making out with them or anything.

Therefor I chose MJ/MJ/LB.

Nice win tonight.

You're gehy, aren't you! (j/k)

My vote had nothing to do with basketball and everything to do with "play". I guess that is just what separates the men from the boys.

Well if it was "play strippoker" instead of "play pickup basketball" I'd take the chicks anyday(leave out the 8 people who voted for em though...). But what am I supposed to do with a basketball?

Tanking infers losing on purpose. Nobody should condone that EVER.

Oh well, I'll sacrifice the "rebuilding" thing for a night. We needed to shut up all the "We Believe" t-shirt wearing Warrior fans polluting ARCO tonight. Haha

How can Team B not include Scarlett Johansson?! Even my girlfriend doesn't get that one.

Anyway, owning the Warriors is always a good thing, made getting up this morning all the more worthwhile.

That doesn't work if you're on the same team

However if it's Me+Jordan+Magic+Larry vs those chicks and some other people THEN that works.

My choice is better no matter what.

It was nice to shut up all the Warrior fans but when did this even become a rivalry? I never even cared about the Warriors when we were a contender. Now that they're barely in the playoffs all it seems they want to do is shove it in our faces they're going to be in the playoffs, but to be honest I don't even care. Warriors fans are like "well atleast we're gonna be in the POs!!!" and my response is basically like "good for you?" Cuz I never even gave a damn about the Warriors when we were actually good. To be honest I still don't, they're just being annoying with this rivalry thing. It's not like Sac/LA or Sac/DAL or Sac/Utah where we played them in the POs a bunch. If they have a rival IMO it's Dallas.

Ehh, it could also imply letting one's team lose. If a game is winnable and you choose to play players that aren't necessarily the combination that will most likely result in a win, that's really not too far from tanking IMO.

Aw, that ain't such bad duty.

There's a Oregon girl, Cristy Cook, kick boxer, cowgirl, that likes to hunt. If she chewed Copenhagen,Why, i'd offer her a marage proposal. Did i say that she was built like a race horse...Blond and pretty, ...man o man!

Only problem is, she can't sing so good. Well, she can, plenty good enough for a country star but all the girls this year have great talent and i fear Cristy gonna get bumped, and hafta come live with me. lol

Hey KIE, Was it you Mods or our team, that kept the G.S. loud mouth obnoxious fans away from our board last night? Anyway, wasn't that game sweet?

Not touching the "loud mouth or obnoxious" labels because I don't want to imply that a few bad apples represent the entire fan base that posts here (and since there are GSW fans that would use the same labels for some of our fans...probably for good reason).

But to answer your question, there was nothing special any of the mods did. Yes, there have been problems in the past, but I think the relationship between the boards has mellowed a little. Our policies have never changed. Any fan of any team is welcome to participate in any thread on this board as long as they remain civil and respectful. Of course that goes two ways...we expect board regulars to be civil and respectful to "outsiders" as well, even if they have unpopular opinions. It just so happened that we did not have a lot of GSW fans come over here this time.

He certainly was last night. I haven't read through the entire thread, so maybe it's already been pointed out, but Monta's brother was shot just a couple of days ago. I think it has affected Monta, not surprisingly. He looked like he was in a haze out there, and Nellie finally just pulled him altogether.
