Stfu. Read the post. Idc what i "always" do, I didn't make this a Melo vs A.I. thread here and I admitted that A.I. has carried us the past few games. I admitted that he was due for a bad game, I just said that he didn't have to make crucial mistakes in the 4th because the defense didn't force those mistakes. A.I. played his *** off this game and him and Carmelo carried this team in this game, at least in the 2nd half, all I said is his mistakes were crucial. Just like Carmelo mistakes against the Bulls. So gtfo with your dumb **** and learn to read. And everyone agreed that Carmelo shouldn't have been on the bench in the 4th so you bought that up for no reason. Read before you come in here spewing out bs.

Well at least the Kings gave us something to cheer about in the end. Warriors down by 19 heading into the 4th. Nuggets need to put this game behind, say thanks to Sac and win the next 4 games that they got on this road trip, as Warriors' schedule becomes much harder with 2 games with Lakers and one with H-Town.

It's hard to pass to Melo when you play half-half... Other players are busting their asses and you get one guy who's moving slow and appears not giving his all on that defensive end.
On that end, he always puts his head down and appears not up to his task... but give him the ball on offense and he will cheer up back again.
Disappointing thing is he CAN play defense. So what makes him so bad? He's just lazy or totally has a low low confidence in himself about defense.
But again, I don't get it. He plays great in the summer for the US, he plays great on both ends.
Why can't he do the same for the Nuggets? Why does he only play on one end when he could play on both ends on the US squad?

Get a clue players' and Karl. There were times when players didn't know what they were supposed to do. Karl needs to make sure that his team knows there defensive assignments, rotations and switches were awful, an embarrassment. Good news is our offense is looking good. Please get some consistency on defense and offensive rebounds....Kenyon you are a power forward, please rebound. Kleiza...ouch.

Detroit dominated our asses today on offense, they were lighting it up..defense once again was non existent and it's quite sad how bad they can be on defense, camby always struggle to defend jump shooting big man..it's becoming obvious he too can be a liabilty on defense against bigs that can shoot.
Melo has to improve on defense, i don't know i think the media needs to call him out on it, like some has said he actually was pretty good on both end of the floor when he played for the us squad..someone has to call him out so he can put more effort in on that end, like when barkley said he couldn't rebound he went out and started rebounding more, now someone needs to call him out for his defense and i hope that will motivate him to improve in that area too.
This team also has alot of weak defenders so melo isn't held at all fault for it, but he's the best player on this team so he needs to lead by example that he too can play defense so that will force other guys to play it.

^Point is as a leader you don't have to be good at defense to be looked up to by your followers.
Look at LeBron, he's probably a worse defender but what's the difference between him and Melo?
LeBron BUSTS his ass and TRIES HIS HARDEST on every play. Melo puts his head down, and when he gets scored on, he smiles and, "huh I can score on the other end to make up for it."
Guess what Melo it doesn't.

Heard that Melo was on iv fluids or something......once I heard that, I was thinking, there goes the rebounding extra effort we've been seeing.
I don't know.....I don't think even health can be an excuse when that first playoff game comes around, if it comes around. This was a perfect game to challenge the Pistons and gain some ground on the West.....and the whole team acted like they were going to score 168 again, which, if they had, would have produced a win.
Melo is getting better, but I still want to see the follow up attitude. Follow up great efforts with great efforts, not split the difference.
