Shaun Livingston has been fighting his way back to the court in the year since his gruesome knee injury. The lanky point guard is continuing to strengthen his muscles and is finally walking with ease. Not only is Livingston anxious to return to the Los Angeles Clippers before the end of this season, he wants to return to the team next season as well.
"[I want to play] just to get my legs under me, get things moving, and also with my contract situation being up this year as well," Livingston, 22, told HOOPSWORLD. "I'm not really concerned with being able to play anywhere next year, but I'd like for it to be here."
"[Corey, Elton, and I] talk about [next season] off and on but that's really out of our hands," Livingston said. "It's going to be the team's job to step up to the plate and make it happen and consider what they want their future to be like and who's going to be in that picture. We'll see when the time gets here."
