I thought Ibaka would be farther up on boards by now but hes not I've been wanting the Sonics to get draft him since I heard about him last season.

They could be but I dont think either of them will be available, who knows if they will even come out this season.

would anyone be interested in Hickson with the Phoenix pick? maybe even trading up to get him?

I'm a little biased living in North Carolina, but this kid is a stud. I think he could be the perfect post scorer to go with Durant.

Nbadraft updated its mock yesterday (If we're 2, we take Rose).

but with the 4th pick we take bayless

with the 24th pick we take Kyle Weaver

and the 34th pick we take Brandon Rush (didn't most think we would take Rus with the 24th?)

Thats a whole lotta guards right there.

Ive heard hes just like Wilcox, Im not sure if I could stand having two guys like that one the team. Now if he plays hard every night then maybe I really dont know that much about Hickson.

^Hickson has Wilcox's athleticism, but in terms of basketball IQ and work ethic I think they are worlds apart. Additionally Hickson is already a better shot blocker.

This kid was dominant early in the year, He either set or tied an ACC FG% record by shooting something like 13-13 from the field in one game. If he hadn't been playing with a freshman PG, and jealous older teammates who limited his touches, Hickson would have been a lot higher on peoples radars imo

oh and as far as effort goes...Hickson was the only guy on our team who DID play hard all season long. Unless he sees a major change once he gets to the league, his work ethic is hardly questionable.

Hickson will enter the draft, not hire agent.
