The Sports Gal brought the funny in her March Madness picks article.

The Sports Gal wrote:USC (6) over Wisconsin (3): This is the real-life matchup and result if Bill takes the Milwaukee Bucks GM job: I will be choosing Southern California over Wisconsin and living off 50 percent of Bill's salary.

The Sports Gal wrote:Marquette (6) over Cornell (14): Maybe I could talk myself into the Bucks GM thing if we lived somewhere near Marquette; I always thought it seemed like a nice school. Also, I'd be considered a twig if we lived in Wisconsin. Everyone would tell me how skinny I was all the time and ask me where I worked out and what I did. I could introduce the women there to pilates and explain to them the dangers of brats and cheese curds. I like the thought of being regarded as an exercise pioneer even if it wasn't true.

EDIT: I also loved the Editors note to start the article:

Editor's Note: Bill Simmons wanted to run his NCAA tournament predictions today, but since his wife beat him for two straight years with NFL picks, we were much more interested in getting her take on March Madness. Simmons might still file his own predictions Wednesday. Frankly, we don't care either way.

Giving a little props to Marquette! Not so much to the State of Wisconsin and the women here.

Its fun to talk about and all, but i for one wouldnt want Bill as our GM. You know he'd pull a Mchale and just screw this team in a trade benefiting the celtics (even when theres much better offers out there.

July 5, 2008
Celtics GM Danny Ainge signs returning free agent PJ Brown to a $18M contract.

July 6, 2008
Bucks GM Bill Simmons trades Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut to the Celtics for PJ Brown, Brian Scalabrine, and players to be named later.

[ok, so that probably couldn't happen, but.......]

Good job. But I don't think it's good to use the word politics. Someone could think the animosity to Kohl is politically motivated in part. Confusing Kohl the senator with Kohl the owner muddies the issue and divides support.

I laughed so hard at the end of the video where you show Kohl being approached than focus right in on Kohl's face and say where nothing happens! Thats gold!

This got lost in the shuffle today.

I was worried that Kohl was going to announce today that he had given Babcock a 3 year contract to be our new GM, which would have hurt the momentum behind the Simmons for GM campaign.

I have a way around that for Simmons, but it is easier while the GM position is still technically vacant.

I got a way to defend it. Bring a bat to the game and kill one of them."

What is the point of this?
To show how pathetic the Bucks are this year in a sarcastic tone?

Why would you want Simmons? He writes articles for ESPN and he's a total Celtics fanatic. I could see Bogut and Yi to boston for Big Baby Davis and a second rounder if he were our GM.

The key word is an experienced GM.
