1. AJ - phenomenal all around game at both ends. He lit it up on offense and held Lewis to 7 points. Not bad for the guy I've repeatedly called the worst defensive starting PF in the league on more than one occasion.

2. Wood - just look at Howards box score and that's all you need to know.

3. Butler - still feeling his way back and struggling with the bad wrist, but he hit two clutch shots down the stretch (and got fouled by Howard at the end).

1. Haywood - you can't overlook Haywood shutting down possibly the best center in the NBA, holding him to a season low in points, making him pick up 5 fouls, making him turn it over more than usual, WHILE getting a double double himself. Dwight has an average game and the Magic win this game, easily.

2. Jamison - Another excellent game from Mr. Consistent. Led us in points (hell, he nearly matched the birthday boy, tonight).

3. Butler - He may not have the numbers, but his 4th quarter play was crucial in our win. He distinctly made 2 shots from the 'long-2' range, and grabbed a few key rebounds as well.

Great team win.

I'll give it up for the Comcast postgame show -- they made Jamison their game MVP. An obvious choice.

31 points
11 rebounds
4 steals
1 block
1 turnover
Outscored his man by 24 points

It's the Captain, of course.

1/1A. AJ
2/1B. BTH
3. Tough Juice.

I had DS2 slotted at 3 but he got sloppy with the ball in the 4th and CB3 hit that big shot with under a minute to go.

definitely Antawn. not only did he have 31 and 11, but he really came through in the 2nd half when we needed him.

Wood in a close second for shutting down Howard. Hands down, Wood is the best 1 on 1 defensive Center in the NBA.

honorable mention: Caron. he finally is starting to find his stroke with that bad left wrist.

m31t, that's the top three in same order in my book, too.

Gotta look up Howard's home v away splits just to see how bad a game for him tonight was. Brendan was really strong tonight.

Im a Brendan lover and homer, but beside Wood shutting down Howard on offense, I had to give it to Jamison. He was huge in the second half, and was matching Turkey shot for shot. So I barely give it to Jamison over Big Wood, with Butler coming in with the LeBronze.

Let's face it -- without Jamison tonight, the Bullets would have been the Miami Heat. Offensively, at least. Nobody could do much scoring tonight apart from Jamison and Turkoglu.

Antawn Jamison.

Extreme tandem: while exploring other team threads, I must say I love the quality of posters in the Wizards section. A lot of the mods in other sections are dim-witted retards compared to regular posters here.

Wood is the player of the game for his defense on Howard.
